Stopped here on our bike ride. Friendly staff and amazing food! The scallop ceviche and lobster bao buns were terrific! Great little spot.
I LOVE fried clams and I just had the most amazing (whole belly of course!) clam roll DEELICIOUS. After lunch, something truly exceptional happened… I was waiting for my husband when someone walked up to me and offered me some “extra clams”. and then strolled back into the kitchen. Ahhhhh. Nirvana and best lunch ever at the Cape!!!
The food is consistently delicious. It’s a clam shack and more. The onion rings a crispy and best tasting coating. The choice of seafood is wide, fried clams to a Mahi-mahi grilled sandwich. The special board is always creative and always changing. The ice cream is Gifford’s and so yummy. The service is friendly and quick.

Cobies is a great, seasonal clam and lobster shack on Cape Cod, one of the oldest fish shacks there. It offers outdoor seating only, decorated with a Cape Cod vibe. The food is always delicious, fresh, and very good, with both decadent and healthy choices available. Favorites include the excellent lobster roll, which is fresh, tender, and plentiful, the best clam roll with whole bellies, fried shrimp, fried scallops, and the fish and chips. The onion rings are crisp and the chocolate shake is thick and tasty. It is pricey, with portion sizes sometimes noted as being on the smaller side, but is a go-to spot for many.
The shack has direct access to the Cape Cod Rail Trail, making it a great spot for bikers, and is easy to find by car with plenty of parking, including handicap parking. Guests order at a window and receive a buzzer. It also invites you to have ice cream or soft serve after dinner, which is allergen-friendly. The last day of the season is the weekend after Labor Day.
