I just ordered a cake for my mother’s birthday from them and the online ordering process could not have been easier. The cake came out perfectly, was available at the pick up time requested and was customized for our needs. Prices are very fair and the cakes are delicious- my mother received another cake that was 3 times the price and she preferred the Party Favors cake. Highly recommended.“

“Absolutely loved this cafe. It's new and has a great clean ambience.
They do have a variety of specialty drinks - I will try this in my next visit, this visit I had an early grey tea which was served in a pot with loose leaf tea. Definitely an upgrade from the regular cafes with tea bags.
Their Colombian cheese bread was good, can't wait to try other things on their menu.

But Emily, the manager, and her father John, the owner, did something I truly didn't expect — they made it work anyway. With so many delicious options, it's hard to know where to start. Their chocolate chip, oatmeal, and Italian wedding cookies, available in three flavors, are simply fantastic. The turnovers are exceptional, featuring perfectly flaky crusts filled with delectable fruit fillings, including adorable miniature raspberry versions. Their selection of pies is just as impressive, with highlights like their tangy key lime pie and irresistible lemon squares for citrus lovers.

Muffins here are moist and flavorful, but if you have a favorite variety, you'll want to call ahead or arrive early, as they tend to sell out fast. My family, who are very critical eaters, loves her pies so much that they ask me to pick up her pies for special occasions. “Toscanini's has been my favorite ice cream spot for over 20 years. Even as I've moved around and lived in other cities, I always make a point to visit whenever I'm back in the Boston area. But a recent experience cemented my loyalty for life.

On Presidents' Day, our family showed up around 5 pm, not realizing the shop was closed for the holiday. When we couldn't open the door, we started knocking, thinking it was just stuck. Gus, the owner, came out and let us know they were closed for the day, but then asked us what we were looking for. We told him we were hoping to grab a pint, and he told us to wait just a moment. A few minutes later, he came back with a big bag full of different pints and let us walk away with two of them, suggesting we could come back and pay another day when they were actually open (or perhaps he didn't care!). We came back and paid two weeks later.

Aside from Maggie’s professionalism and beautiful courtesy in serving us (often a rare combination in the service industry) I watched her deal with an incredibly rude customer with such graciousness and self control.
