“Amazing 10/10 recommend. $28/person AYCE for lunch Mon-Sun 11:30-4:30pm. The soup bases and options are delicious and I was FULL by the end. Excellent service and great sauce. This is gonna be my new go-to hot pot, can’t beat the price and location and quality.“

“Shu DaXia’s hotpot was a surprising hit and my friends actually prefer it to Liuyishou or Qiao Lin now. The main reason is that they offer a vegetarian version of the spicy Sichuan pepper broth, which the other places didn’t have, I really enjoyed the Shiitake chicken broth as well. The crispy fried pork appetizer was delicious, and I loved that the restaurant felt clean and had a coat check. It wasn't too crowded when we went, which made the whole experience even better.

“Happy Lamb in Cambridge is my preferred location in Massachusetts.

I've been going to this location for quite some time now, and it never disappoints.

I always look forward to going because of the consistency of the flavor, atmosphere, and the great customer service that is provided amongst the entire staff.

I would like to single out three ladies that always go above and beyond to make sure that everything is up to the best standards. These ladies are Stephanie, Julissa, and Adrianna. They always have a smile on their face, are extremely kind and attentive. They make the experience always enjoyable for myself and my friends/family. It's always a wonderful restaurant experience and with them it feels like I'm visiting family for dinner with their warm welcoming back.

I really appreciate that level of service that Stephanie, Julissa, and Adrianna always provide. I always look forward to seeing them, and they are a great asset to Happy Lamb in Cambridge.

“My wife and I were in from out of town. My wife is Food was so good we went two nights out of the four we were in town. We arrived around 5 and were seated right away. It was packed by 6. First night we had individual pots and the second night we shared. The frog legs were very good! Don't forget to add the sauce and snack option.“

“We’ve been coming here since they opened. Their menu has evolved and it’s a go to for the Waltham/Watertown/Newton area without having to go into Boston.

The ingredients are fresh and the place is clean. Lately we’ve been going weekly for dinner and it never disappoints. Their liquor/drink selection is a great bonus as well!

“I normally take more photos but I was extremely hungry and forgot to, mb team. I highly recommend you get reservations by calling in there is not a lot of room in this establishment. The selection is amazing compared to a lot of other shabu shabu or hotspot places. You order on an iPad and the food starts appearing at your table. There is a 20% gratuity for groups which is very fair and nothing crazy. I recommend you get the premium and make sure to finish with ice cream before the timer ends ⏲️ ‼️.“

“Decided to walk through Allston on a grody, misty afternoon and look for some food. Walked in by chance and at my SO’s insistence that we give it a look. I loved everything about the aesthetic, and enjoyed the soft music playing in the background. Being able to choose the ingredients I wanted - knowing they were organic and that they looked more than delicious raw...that was the absolute best part. The gentleman at the front was supremely helpful and answered any question thrown at him - by anyone in the shop. The price was more than worth the amount of food received, and the care extended to us as guests was wonderful. I absolutely would recommend anyone to give this a try. “This was great food. Everything was obviously fresh and high quality. We ordered from the menu, not hot pot, and all the dishes were cooked exactly perfectly. Even the appetizers were clearly cooked with care. And they have a really extensive menu of hot pot items, plus plenty of other dishes. They really care about making the best food and they succeed.“

“Probably the best shabu house in Boston. Everything was fresh from the meat, vegetables and seafood. I chose the silver(I think) the one with about $55 per person and I got the whole set of seafood and the lobster was so fresh and the oysters that comes with was huge and fresh!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Generous portions for cheap! They give a lot of rice which fills you up, but a decent portion of main dish (I got pork and tofu). The main dishes are a bit oily, but they taste very good. The pork had a decent amount of lean meat as well as fatty, which is good. I wish the tofu had a little more taste, but it was still good. Food came very quickly. The soup it came with was too salty though, tasted like salt water. Everything here was around $12 which is a good deal! Recommend for a quick but filling meal.“

“The old location had better vibes, but the food is still very good and consistent, I've probably been here or ordered out 25+ times over the years. One word of advice I'll offer is I've been told this place is more northern Chinese style, but they still have some menu items that are more southern/western dishes and I tend to not think they are as good here.“
