They have a roomy downstairs bar that was perfect for hosting my book launch party. They also have an open upstairs dining area with a breathtaking view that is perfect for drinks with friends or intimate dinners for 2. Their appetizers are brilliant: we’ve loved the Brussel sprouts and the Vietnamese Eggrolls. I also really enjoyed the Pappardelle Pasta: the meat was so tender, the pasta was silky and chewy, and the sauce was savory and tangy. My partner had the BBH Bahn Mi and raved over the taste. We love the blended texture and flavors of Esmai’s dishes.“

“This hidden gem is located on the Boston University campus more close to the gas station, a Target and a new restaurant called Ziggy’s. They do sell boba but I want to take a moment to show appreciation to their macarons. My personal favorite is the fruity cereal. As you can see, look how pretty it looks and taking a bite it is sweet, satisfying and it just makes you happy. I know for me it made me happy. I believe they do buy it from a third party but it is delicious and worth it. If you look at my first picture they do display their pricing and to be upfront it does show “Buy 5 and get one free” however they do not ring it up like that and ring it up as you bought a total of six macarons. So for me, I could argue if I wanted to but I learned for myself that I’m willing to pay all six and the rest of their flavors (vanilla, birthday cake (both a pink & blue)) are tasty and satisfying. I have tried the dark chocolate macaron and it was okay. If you are one of those people that enjoys dark chocolate but want a subtle sweetness then that one is for you. I have tried their Italian soda (the lemon one to be exact) and it was delicious as well. If you want a “healthy option” they do offer Italian soda and their flavors. On the last picture you can see their drinks, pricing and boba options. My daughter and I enjoy this boba shop and it is welcoming and warm atmosphere. I just wished this establishment was more closer to home but I’m willing to travel.“

“The smoothies are really yummy. They have good variety and protein options. They're each ~$9 give or take $1 and you get like 24oz which is a good size.

Tried an acai bowl and it was mid. ~$10 and didn't feel worth it. You can tell the acai portion was pre made for the day or frozen earlier because it has the slight freezer burn flavor. Fruit topping was good. Fine snack, but comparing to tbe smoothie, I'd rather get a smoothie. Buy acai bowls elsewhere.

“I ordered the waterworks juice which has beet juice and carrot juice, etc. It was fine. Priced about the same as any other juice shop, which is expensive. I also ordered the avocado toast, which was pretty much guacamole spread on toast. I got it on the sourdough bread which was nice and fresh. It tasted fine. Definitely overpriced at eight dollars for a slice of bread with some guacamole on it. Once again, the pricing is aligned with most other shops, but everything cost outrageous prices nowadays. I probably won’t go here again just because who the heck can afford eating out. It just seems everyone price gouges no matter where you go. You’ve got the money to spare. They do make a nice juice.“

“When you enter it’s a very nice vibe with good music, clean environment, window seating and a warm greeting. Healthy food menu options. I Placed an order for two chicken patties, as well as a milk shake. The restaurant also offer other patties like fish, and so on. Note often times if you want a certain quantity of patties you may want to call ahead to place an order as these patties are made there so they may not have what you’re looking for if you do not place an order in advance, or they may have a small quantity less than you would have wanted. The patties happen to be my fav, they are so tasty and pleasing to the eye, however there is a wider variety of food options. The milkshake I ordered was cookie dough and it was beautiful, and tasty, perfect consistency not too thick, not too sweet, just perfect. I think the prices are great for today’s economy or market. “I got the Yuzu Ocean Granola Bowl and it was AMAZING. I added on a drizzle of honey and Nutella but you don’t have to. This bowl was so fresh and sweet and i loved the base that it came with. The fruit is SO fresh and perfect; especially the mango. I definitely recommend getting this.“

“I ordered a Power Boost bowl through DoorDash and overall the bowl itself was delicious. Upon receiving it, I discovered it contained walnuts (which I have an allergy to) and the ingredient info on DoorDash did not list walnuts. I reached out to the store and they immediately updated the ingredient info and offered to remake the bowl, which I really appreciated.

After looking into this further, my bigger concern is with DoorDash. There is currently no option during the ordering process to list a food allergy or request an ingredient be removed. The only note option available relates to substitutions if an item is unavailable, not allergy information.

If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction, I would highly recommend ordering directly through the store rather than through DoorDash so you can communicate those concerns directly and the restaurant can handle them accordingly because the bowl itself is absolutely worth trying!“
