I decided on fried chicken and fried vegetable rice, which turned out to be an awesome choice. The rice came out first, and it was fantastic. The chicken was perfectly crisp, just the way I like it, even though I didn't request it that way. The customer service was top-notch—very professional. “Me and my girl have been getting this place almost once a week for the past 6 months. We always get garlic naan, butter chicken or chicken Tikka masala (yeah we white as hell.)

This is hands down the best northern Indian cuisine in Waltham, maybe the entire Northeast. We've had a ton of other restaurants but here everything is straight flavor, fresh, tender & perfectly cooked.

Other than the insane food, the staff have all been friendly & attentive. The atmosphere is also clean and nice enough to bring a significant other for a fancy night.“

I don't recall the price but i think was slightly on the expensive side. They don't give free water (usually restaurants in US provide free water). No additional chutney or sambhar, you have to purchase the same. Food quality good though and you won't miss Indian food while in US :)“

Tonight we had Saag Paneer and Paneer Tikka Masala with garlic naan and chai. Fresh, warm naan is always tasty but at some restaurants as it cools it becomes doughy and tasteless. At Rang, the naan is good hot or cool. The curries were tasty and the medium spiciness was just right. The samosas had lots of stuffing, and the wrap was not oily (an issue at many).“

All the dishes have perfect consistency, are very tasty and aromatic, have fresh ingredients, and have a special savory quality above other Indian restaurants. Also, the chefs will make the food based on your preference of spiciness (and I've actually ordered vindaloo, which is supposed to be spicy, in other local restaurants that was served mild!) no matter what the dish. The selection is larger and more interesting that at any other local restaurant, with a good selection of special dishes, breads, and dosas in addition to all the traditional dishes. There is an amazingly good selection of several draft and bottled beers (for example, Night Shift and Jacks Abby offerings on tap, and Dogfish Head and others in bottles), which is EXTREMELY rare for Indian restaurants, which usually serve the worst quality beers. Finally, the location (Arlington Center, with plenty of on street parking) and inside decor are great, with a modern and stylish interior with comfortable seating. The wait staff is always friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable. So, if you want to have the best experience in Indian dining (even if the dishes are a dollar or two more expensive), make Punjab your destination. Washroom needs remodeling (As men’s & women’s washroom door opens everything is open to others Eye. Need some sort of obstacle ).

Need more tables & chairs.( suggestion: can start Hookah too).
