“Enjoyed the food and ambiance. Foods are hot on the spice level, so if you are not used to it, be careful. . Chicken Lolipop and chicken fry were excellent apps. We had shattichor. Loved mutton shattichor, but chicken in the chicken shattichor was more bland than spicy. Jeera rice biriyani was not flavorful.
The server was excellent. She explained the food and even engaged with the kids with humor.
Great job on the menu. Well designed, with colorful pictures of how the food looks. But don't be misled by shattichor, the food doesn't come in claypot!“

“Great food. Couldn’t recommend this place more, especially for lunch. Easily worth the drive up from Boston. The service is some of the best I’ve had anywhere.“

“This place is awesome. It's not often you find an Indian place that specializes in the use of meats. All their foods are seasoned well and taste astronomical. I loved the double decker sandwich with the spicy mayo. Was delicious. “

“Paani Indian Cuisine in Sudbury is a shining example of how traditional culinary heritage can be beautifully adapted to meet American standards while preserving the most valuable and precious flavors of Indian cuisine. This restaurant skillfully blends the bold, often intense spices of Indian cooking into more accessible, yet still distinctly flavorful dishes that are perfect for non-native guests.
I admired their courage in making these adjustments without losing the essence of what makes Indian food so special. Our dinner was not only delightful in taste but also in the atmosphere, which was warm and inviting. The staff were knowledgeable and respectful of our privacy, allowing us to fully enjoy our meal in a relaxed setting.
The shared entrées and main courses were executed to perfection, with each dish offering a taste that faithfully represented traditional Indian flavors without being overwhelming. On this occasion, our group didn’t include anyone of Indian origin, so there was no debate over the spiciness or lack thereof - just a unanimous appreciation of the balanced, delicious food.
Though I don’t claim to be an expert in Indian cuisine, I consider myself a devoted enthusiast, much like many others. For me, Paani stands out as one of the best places to experience authentic-tasting Indian food in a modern, warm, and guest-focused environment.“

“I don't get takeout for lunch often, but I forgot my lunch and immediately looked up where to get something tasty. This place is pretty close to my work, so I decided to give it a try.
I got rasam and lemon rice. The food was GOOD! The rasam in particular was excellent. I asked for extra curry leaves and they added them. The prices are reasonable and I was happy with my lunch. I'll have to "forget" to bring my lunch again so I can try more of the menu. :)
Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options.“

“If this was above ground and didn't blast the music as loud, it would be 3 Michelin star. The food is superb. The spice starts at medium and goes to extreme.
Beware if you can't handle mild or above.
Beware if you like spicy and aren't indian, they will adjust lower.
Regardless, the taste, seasoning, and cook of every dish I've tried so far is spot on, and I've been coming here since 2016 whenever I crave Indian food.
Vegetarian options: Numerous and varied
Parking: Tight spaces and a tight lay out. Extra parking on the side of the building.
Wheelchair accessibility: Very poor. You will need movers to get you in and out if you're in a wheel chair and can not climb stairs.“
