The hostess was very friendly and helpful and I ordered a full tray of chicken biriyani that was cooked and packed in 25 mins. This definitely saved the day and the fresh, hot biriyani was really good!“

I decided on fried chicken and fried vegetable rice, which turned out to be an awesome choice. The rice came out first, and it was fantastic. The chicken was perfectly crisp, just the way I like it, even though I didn't request it that way. The customer service was top-notch—very professional. “It is hard to find a good Indian restaurant in the Cambridge area. This one certainly stands out especially when it comes to offering a pretty decent variety of Vegan and Dairy-free items.

We ordered the Tofu saag, aloo gobhi, dairy-free tandoori roti and paratha.The vegetable pakodas were decent too.

Location is pretty good along with the ambience.“

At Rang, the naan is good hot or cool. The curries were tasty and the medium spiciness was just right. The samosas had lots of stuffing, and the wrap was not oily (an issue at many).“

“We really love Aama Lama! Their momos are some of our favorites, the wrappers are great, the filling is so juicy, and the sauce is SO good. We also recently tried their new panipuri, and WOW it was amazing! The texture was so good, and the sauce was absolutely delightful. I’m literally craving it as I’m writing this review.

The thukpa is my go-to dish. It’s so comforting, and I especially love the Vietnamese twist with the banh canh noodles. It feels familiar and unique at the same time. My husband always goes for the chicken tikka masala, which is so aromatic and flavorful. And we can’t forget the Vietnamese coffee! The ube and pandan flavors are both so good.

I really appreciate that even though Aama Lama is a Nepalese restaurant, they incorporate Vietnamese flavors and influences into the menu. As Vietnamese people, we love that fusion and how naturally it comes through in the food. Everything feels thoughtful, comforting, and full of flavor!“

Makalu is a small, bright restaurant with a handful of tables and seating at the bar for 4. We enjoyed both their Indian and Nepali dishes. The momo were good, but didn't standout compared to other offerings in nearby cities and towns. We'll likely go back to try the pani puri!“
