Amelia's Trattoria is a cozy neighborhood gem with excellent food and welcoming staff. The menu offers a variety of delicious options, including a fantastic spinach ravioli with grilled jumbo shrimp and mushrooms. The beet salad appetizer is a standout dish that shouldn't be missed. The grilled octopus was flavorful, served on a bed of sauteed vegetables with a spicy aioli. The bolognese is incredible, creamy and delicious, with perfectly al dente pasta. However, the veal saltimbocca was a bit underseasoned. The atmosphere can get busy, especially in the warm summer months, but outdoor seating provides a quieter, more spacious vibe. Wonderful drinks, including a special seasonal Spritz with Curacao, lemon and thyme, complement the delicious food. The bread with savory bean dip was a nice touch.
