Pagu Reviews
Run don't walk to Pagu for absolutely scrumptious food that weaves together Japanese and Spanish Basques Cuisines! Pagu is a restaurant known for its Japanese-Spanish fusion cuisine, offering a unique dining experience. The interior is modern and comforting, with an open kitchen concept. Standout dishes include the Black Cod Croquettas, Patatas Bravas, and the "Midnight Ramen." The Tuna Collar is a must-order, described as huge and delicious, perfect for sharing. The restaurant also offers well-regarded vegetarian options, such as mom's fried rice and the seasonal Matcha or Ube Basque cheesecake. The cocktails, wine list, and Tracy Chang's homemade nonalcoholic sparkling teas, including genmaicha and hojicha, have been praised for their quality. Service is attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, creating a welcoming atmosphere. There have been some comments on certain dishes lacking memorable flavors and textures, but the menu has real depth and accommodates various dietary restrictions. Pagu is an excellent place for socializing with friends over drinks and is recommended for its unique experience and inviting ambiance.
