The ribs were amazing and with the BBQ sauce, gives meaning to "fall off the bone". Pairs incredibly well with the almost pickled-like collard greens and garlic mashed potatoes. Great meal that doesn't leave you feeling guilty at the end.
Did I tell you how much I hate(ed) white meat/breast fried chicken?.. 'til I ate it here.' Gator, corn bread, and, really, I tried, I was gonna make it out the door without that piece of pie but, see, what had happened was that it was her own browned butter pecan pie and, well, I was weak an' it was worth it. HEAVENLY!!

Friendly decor underscores this delightful little southern-themed restaurant's diverse menu of comfort foods. The meals are imaginative without being exotic, and I've never had anything I didn't like here! Through a window into the little kitchen, you can see the chef working very hard, and it shows in the thoughtful and attractive assembly and plating of dishes. Drinks and desserts are delightful as well.
