Came here on a Tuesday for dollar oysters and a draft craft beer. Was not disappointed. Most likely there’s not many of my breed “hardcore oyster lover” but FYI As of February they’re carrying a breed called “bumamoto” named after Kumamoto oysters, but bred in Barnstable (B for Barnstable, duh bro get it?) not as sweet as Kumamoto but similar texture, def saltier but overall a nice flavor. Props to my bartenders Mark and Kiki for being awesome, and they did a great job upselling me. Will be back here whenever I’m back in Cambridge.

I absolutely LOVE this place. I travel over an hour to dine here. The vibes/art and food are immaculate! The owners amazing and an incredible chef. I got the octopus and the Oaxacan drink it was the best mix of flavors. Their oysters are always top quality. Highly recommend!

We had dinner at Viale, and it was a great experience. We ordered steak and drinks, and everything was delicious and well prepared.

The atmosphere was amazing—cozy, stylish, and perfect for a relaxed night out. Our server, Steve, was awesome—friendly, attentive, and made the night even better.

Great food, great environment, and excellent service. We’ll definitely be back

My partner and I love Viale's pistachio pizza and would come every few months, but the last time we came was really disappointing and made us question if we would come back. I ordered the pistachio pizza and my partner had a pork dish, we waited a long time for our food to come out but the restaurant had gotten busy so we didn't mind. however, my partners food came out and mine didn't. We were hungry and shared his meal, but my pizza didn't come. I had to ask two servers for updates on it and they said they weren't sure why it hadn't come out with my partners dish. About 20 minutes after the first dish was out, my pizza came out hot like it had just been made. We expressed that we were disappointed because we had hoped to eat our meals together-- by that point, my partner had finished his meal. The manager came over to apologize but didn't offer anything. This was really disappointing since obviously we spent most of the meal stressed and concerned about if my dish was coming at all. Since the manager didn't make it right, we just felt disappointed in the experience, especially when its not a cheap place to eat.

We went to Viale before a show next door at Dance Complex. Wasn't sure what to expect, but enjoyed both food and wine. Brussel Sprout salad and Gnocchi Bolognese were delicious and notable for balanced, not over done, treatment. Wine list was small but both wines we had by the glass were quite good (Verdicchio and 'Mostly Nebbiolo'). Siciliano cocktail was good but seemed bit light on the bourbon, to my taste. Made for a fine start to the evening.

Sorry to say that the experience here was just ok.
Service was fine overall, but server kept coming back to ask if we were ready, and pushing us to go faster.
Food was disappointing. The grilled oysters were tasty, but really small.
All wines seem to be $15/glass, not really worth that.
The food had clearly been precooked and kept (kind of) warm until ordered. The chicken parm was very disappointing. Cheese wasn't even melted on it. Just lukewarm, and dry. The housemate chips were a bit greasy. At over $50 per person, there are better choices around here.

Nice bar with a relaxed vibe and good drink selection. The atmosphere was pleasant, though service was a bit slow. Music not too loud, perfect for conversation. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨

Unique flavors and different takes on classic brunch and lunch options. I felt that portions were generous and also very filling. Came with a large group and the service was very accommodating.

Also, the cocktails were complex and tasty. Not overly boozy with the right balance of flavors as matching the descriptions on the menu.

For parents: A toddler high chair was available but no changing table in the men's restroom. Didn't ask for a kids menu, I don't think they have one.

Great Happy hour if you enjoy oysters. The pizza is quite good, espeically the hot honey. Ive probably gone to Viales at least 5 times just to eat oysters. Maybe I just love oysters, I am not sure but I keep coming here for oysters nonetheless. Recommend if you live near central square, there is live music ocassionally from the streets you can enjoy as well while eating

Affordable priced beers and $1 happy hour oysters. Service from one of the guys was not too friendly and rude. Pass on the smoked wings, not too much flavor and small.
