“My first time ordering from them. The food was good, bacon cheeseburger and fries. On the website it says that you will get fries and coleslaw with any order, but when I got it there was no slaw. I called and the person on the line was very condescending, as if I was lying to get some free slaw. But didn't appreciate not getting what I was promised and treated like a looney when I ask for it.“

“Lazy Bear is the single greatest thing to happen to ice cream. I’ve made a hobby out of enjoying different local ice cream places in my travels and I can say that Lazy Bear is the best ice cream you’ll have. I personally suggest the entire menu!

Additionally, Nana Peach is a national treasure for creating hot fudge that good. Protect her at all costs.“

“My favorite brewery, always a nice selection, everyone can find something they like. Lots of entertainment; trivia, bingo, live music. Their merch is nicely done too. Food trucks and lawn games outside with lots of seating. Big big screen for sports, place never gets too rowdy. There is an arcade for young and old alike, bathrooms clean, nice staff. - Corn Milk with Pandan (Sữa Bắp Lá Dứa) ($7.75): This is the only place I’ve found around here that sells this. It was tasty. A little thick but smooth and sweet but refreshing. They offer an ice bag if you aren’t able to refrigerate or drink it within thirty minutes.

Selection: both hard and soft serve. Today's pricing average, From kiddie cone, 3 sizes, or dish. Can share the banana splits etc. well done. First time I found it. Will return if in area.

I’m also generally not a fan of food places that try to avoid human contact, where you are greeted by a machine and not a person. The person behind the counter was alone and very busy though so I get it. She had a lot on her plate but made a point to be cordial anyway.“

“I live in Kingston but have been needing to go for (what feels like) a million appointments at Dana Farber in Weymouth since this past spring. I love SB coffee (but usually brew my own at home) so have fallen into a routine of going to this store after my appointments as a little treat. Every time I go to this particular SB I am treated so well. Everyone genuinely seems very happy to be working there and act as though they love their job. On Tuesday afternoon I popped in for my coffee post scan and for some reason the barista said to me “It’s on me” and paid for my coffee. There was nothing on me to suggest I had just come from a scan or otherwise. I look healthy. I have no idea why she did this for me, and can only think it was out of the kindness of her heart because she’s just a generally awesome person. I have no idea who she is. She has not waited on me before and I don’t frequent this location to be a regular or recognized. Something made her do that and when I tell you that it was probably one of the nicest things that a stranger has ever done for me I mean that with all of my heart. It was just a cup of coffee and certainly something I could pay for. But it was a simple act of kindness that really just meant so much to me. You really do not know what people are going through, like the old adage goes “you never know so just be kind”. Although this is a specific thing I wanted to share, I also want you to know that every single time I go into this location, very person working there is nice, happy and upbeat. Thank you to that barista and I hope you see this and know how much I appreciate what you did. No big deal to most but it was a big deal to me.“
