To begin with, the service was outstanding. Our server was particularly gracious and helpful. The food was outstanding. Soups a little salty but tasty. All was served warm. The ambiance was especially interesting. It was a cold, winter noon, but the atmosphere projected warmth. Have been here before and the place has gotten better in all areas.
We drove about a 1/2 hour to get to restaurant; it was worth the trip. The service was great, spacious and inviting. The food was good my boyfriend is picky when it comes to food. He was pleased with the menu.
Thank goodness we had a reservation! We were in Chatham for First Night. Two days prior they called us to let us know that there was a limited menu at the time of our reservation. We kept the reservation and when we arrived the bar was several people deep and they were not taking walk-ins for dinner. We were seated immediately at a nice corner table. Our waitress Christina was delightful. She made some great recommendations. We ordered some seasonal drinks (which were amazing)...
