“Lots of options at this small restaurant in Cary Square! We came for dinner on a Sunday night with our toddler. The dining room was very clean and has two tvs. The music was fairly loud but since there weren't a lot of people, it wasn't too annoying. The server was super friendly and she checked on us and made suggestions from the menu. I got a solid margarita to go along with the chips and salsa. Our daughter went to town on the bean dip! For dinner I ordered the pollo en crema - chicken in cream sauce. Thin cutlet with delicious cream sauce and mushrooms with rice and salad. The prices are very reasonable so we'll probably return!“
“The place was busy But not a long wait The front desk staff is bilingual which is nice The pupusa $3 soming was very good great size hot and fresh The shrimp cocktail $15 was also good The chicharrón with yuca was good but the chicharrón should of been bigger was thinly sliced more yuca then anything but it was $8 other than that great service yummy food and will definitely order again“
“The food at this restaurant is always good and fresh. Never when I order here can say that the food is bad or old! I don’t dine in because the music bothers my little boy who is autistic... All the staff are always friendly, they always have a smile on their face even when they’re about to closed. They treat customers with respect!“
“I rarely go out of my way to write reviews but this place is an absolute superstar. Some of the best food I have EVER had. They really took the time to understand what exactly I wanted and nailed it ! My new go to restaurant in the area. Amazing Salvadorian Empanadas, stacked tostadas, and delicious tacos duros.“
“Lunch with the siblings at Rancho las Pupusas, a hole in the wall restaurant providing tasty pupusas and authentic Salvadoran cuisines. We ordered horchatas and pupusas revueltas. The red sauce can slightly be better just need a kick. The cabbage mix was really good as well as the actual pupusas.I love a good horchata but this one seems a bit watered down. Overall not too bad and service was good.“
“This was a fantastic place to eat. Family members from abroad came to visit me in Boston and I took them to eat here and they loved it. They said the food was authentic to places in El Salvador and Central America. The service was incredible with the staff being attentive and answering all our questions regarding the menu. We went Friday night during their karaoke night and the ambiance was very festive and lively--lots of people dancing and singing. I would recommend it to anyone who wishes to eat good food and sing on a Friday night. During the daytime, it is very family-friendly. I would recommend their pupusas and also their tortas. Love it.“
“Ive only ordered from this place on DoorDash so I cant honestly say much about the in-restaurant service, but every time i pick up food, it’s always warm and delicious. Pickup is straightforward and I’ve never had a problem with them or my order. Highly recommend!Parking: Street parking if you can find but theres an alleyway behind the place where you can double park. Be careful as parking enforcement in Chelsea is pretty strict!“
“Food is delicious, restaurant is very clean, hours are extremely convenient…they’re always open. Prices are very reasonable too especially for the portion size!If speaking English and ordering by phone the server may switch you to someone else if you have a complicated order due to substitutions etc. Which is very helpful. But communication is easy when ordering a normal menu item with everyone, and very accommodating while asking for something unique. Appreciate it!Like another reviewer said: looks are deceiving. From the outside it looks very casual, on the inside it is spacious and white table cloth kind of place! Very nice. Also for takeout, the food is made pretty quickly. Like whatever amount of time your order would take to cook, quick. So food is fresh made to order and delicious.“
“Delicious Salvadoran pupusas! We had bean and cheese, and pork. The best part is the crunchy bean and cheese that seeps out while cooking. We got four pupusas to go since the restaurant is tiny. This is not fast food; the wait was about 15 min., but this homemade food was more reasonably priced.“
“For me it was the best place to enjoy delicious food, but on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, we were having lunch as a family, it was 2:30 in the afternoon when a homeless man entered through the door where the exit is, and grabbed a tortilla with his hands. that we were using to eat, and that situation seems incorrect and uncomfortable to me, there is no tranquility less security when an uncomfortable situation like that happens“
“I'm so happy I finally tried this place , I'm happier it's up the street from me :) I didn't take a picture of the pupusas but oh my goodness, they were BIG and delicious, the queso was just oozing out , you had to be there , haha. The tacos de pollo I had were packed with delicious chicken and pico also the hot sauce that came with it was very spicy , just how I like it. I can not wait to go here again!“
