“Went here last night for dinner with a few friends. sitting at the table the food & drinks were great! our waitress was amazing and we had a great time... I do not recommend sitting at the bar, after eating 2 of us decided to sit at the bar and order drinks, right of the bat the bartender Katie, was mad slamming things down and just major attitude. when we got our drinks we immediately noticed they were wrong, tasted weird etc. the bartender asked how they were and we told her they were bad and if she could remake them, let's just say after the new drinks we're made and we were happy, the night turned dark were this waiter referred to us as a bunch of N*ggers and that she would come over the counter at us. never again what a horrible embarrassing show she put on and made for this restaurant. all over the fact she had to remake drinks, that the manager even agreed didn't look right. we go here quite a bit and tbh we are great tippers because the drinks and staff are always great.. last night she got exact change to the penny and almost had everyone catching a case with her racial comments and actions. hopefully the manager fires her. their own waitresses were saying that Katie treats them just as bad. smh“

“It's OKAY Mexican food. I would have liked more for my dollar considering it was hard communicating with them, considering they knew no English. I am part Lebanese as well as Italian so I definitely can say I like hot foods but the sauces were not all that great and they arent even that hot. The Diablo sauce yes is a great sauce but it lacks both flavor and heat. I like red and green chilis and cheese, but who knows I'm not Mexican. I would have liked it to be a little cheaper for the food and quality. I spent 16 dollars on a burrito had no Pico de gallo when I said Pico de gallo she put a little bit in. These people NEED to learn how to speak.“

“It had been about a year since our last visit to El Tapatio, and stepping back in felt like coming home. Isauro, the owner, recognized us right away and came over to warmly shake our hands — such a genuine, personal touch that you don’t find everywhere.

The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming and friendly, the kind of place where you instantly feel comfortable. I enjoyed a wonderful margarita and some traditional Mexican food. We’re so glad we stopped in — it won’t be another year before we’re back!“

“Visiting Lynn/boston/salem for 2 weeks with my gf and honestly best place for tacos and burritos. The beef tacos were amazing especially with the sauce they give and if my gf wanted the burrito again, that means it’s a good 20/20 ! Making this review so I know to come back here over and over again. For the chicken burrito and 4 beef tacos it was around 28$ USD which is better than what they price in MTL if I’m honest.

“There is an enchilada dish on the menu (I can’t recall the exact name) that is smothered in mole sauce they say is their grandmother’s recipe. This is the greatest mole sauce I have ever had. It is both sweet and spicy… amazingly delicious. Absolutely my favorite dish on the menu. I’ve tried several other items as well and they never disappoint. I’ve heard a few complaints about slow service… you have to remember that they aren’t microwaving junk they bought at the market. This is the real deal! I highly recommend this restaurant.“

“I ordered a buffalo chicken pizza for takeout and it was EXCELLENT!! Thin, crispy crust, TONS of cheese, seared red onions, perfect amount of sauce, and the buffalo chicken had a great medium-mild spice to it. Plus, it was reasonably priced. Also, the staff were very pleasant. My only complaint is to myself for not trying this place sooner, especially since I live next door. I will DEFINITELY be back!!!“
