“Went there at night and had a blast. It got pretty crowded as the night went on so be prepared to not have much personal space but great hip hop and R&B music and atmosphere. The drinks are a little pricey but are big and strong. Will be going again with friends!“

“Not only do I recommend The Sail Loft but I had the very nicest Valentine dinner EVER. The rooms are charming and cozy, our server Melissa was knowledgeable, intelligent, articulate and perceptive (she brought me into the kitchen to meet and offer my undying devotion to the Chef and his Valentine cheesecake!). Each time we dine here we love the staff, the food, the ambiance, the Bellini that the bartender made specially for me. This is most definitely the “It” place. Thanks for a lovely evening! “This is a great place to grab a drink and listen to live music. Not a place I would grab food again. I’ve given it a couple of tries and the food both times has taken a long time to come out. First time we had a large group (place was empty) but we decided to give it another try recently. We didn’t have elaborate meals - 3 meals for takeout. Salad, chicken and chips, and grilled tenders and cucumber salad. My allergy free salad had a crouton in it the first time I ate there and the chicken has dark black grill marks. The second time I ordered it with the house dressing and beef tips - it was told to me it was gluten and dairy free. Once I got the salad home, I realized they had packed blue cheese instead. The beef tips on it were terrible as well. The manager/owner comes out to discuss allergens but it doesn’t appear that anyone checks the orders like at other restaurants I have been to. I’m aware it’s always a risk going out but that shows they didn’t put attention to my gluten allergy free order either time. The cucumber salad was soggy and disgusting, not prepared that day. It’s an awesome place to check out for a drink and music but the food (at least options we selected) were not great regardless of the allergy vs non allergy items. Definitely check out for a drink and the music, great atmosphere for that.“

“Just had the Monday Omakase and it was fantastic. So many different cuts of tuna not even sure what was the best. So stuffed by the end of the meal I couldn’t even have dessert. Also, a really fun atmosphere and a real learning experience.“

“River’s End offers great food and outstanding service. I stopped here for lunch and ordered the Cheeseburger Plate, cooked to perfection and delicious. The waitress was friendly, kind, and professional. They offer daily specials for a reasonable price. Plenty of food to enjoy. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

“Stopped by last weekend for drinks and apps. This place did not disappoint! Drinks and food are both great, lots of drink choices. The atmosphere is really cool but best of all is the bartenders/ servers, our favorite is Chelsea!! She is so friendly, outgoing and right on point, we didn't ever have to wait for drinks. Chelsea keeps a good eye on her customers and comes over just before your drink is empty offering a new one. The establishment is great, but Chelsea keeps us coming back!! Hope you never lose her🤞“

“Beautiful night in New Bedford. Three of my friends and myself wandered down towards the cobblestone district. A street concert was going on. My friends and I went to Rose Alley. Rose Alley of course no longer has the roses but it also does not need to cover the pungent smell of whale oil. This New Bedford mainstay was not packed. The gang grabbed seats on the outdoor patio. We could hear the live music from a few blocks over. Our server was Chloe, who was very great! She wrote down our order. My friend had very specific requirements for his burger. Anyways I had a house salad with shrimp and 1 dozen garlic herb dry rub chicken wings. The salad was...drumroll...a salad. Lots of lettuce...very fresh, diced tomatoes were really good...again it was a salad....had six nice grilled shrimp.

But the wings were amazing. Little crisp. Very meaty. Dipped into chunky blue cheese dressing. I mean the only fault was the celery....but drumroll...fake stick salad :)....

The wings are hands down an A. My friends had the boneless. They had sweet chili for one order and Mozambique for the other. One had fries. One had fried pickles. Both gave their chicken tenders A plus. The fried pickles came with no dipping sauce was the only criticism by one of them. My other friend refused to give me a review and stated people should just come there. He must of like it because he was first done. Overall for 4 people with $103.00 tip $128.00. Chloe, the server did a great job by being detail oriented, by being available when needed, and just really friendly. The atmosphere allowed for conversations, not overly crowded...

I give Rose Alley at 7-8:15 = A+.

“Went on a Sunday afternoon for playing the games after a visit to the whaling museum.
Atmosphere is excellent. Really well decorated and themes and art change between areas of the bar. Rooftop patio was super cool.
Games were in mediocre condition. Addams family spits out extra balls, it was too dark to see the top of the playfield on super Mario and I could not hear the sound on any of the pinballs. DK had graphic glitches and likely needs ROMs reseated. I know how much work it takes to keep all these games in good working condition. I would describe this place as a bar first with arcade games second, as the conditions were not great, especially when considering its pay to play.
Still, super cool vibe, just need some tech support.“

First time ever going to a bar like this but I certainly enjoyed it! Highly recommend it and the food was surprisingly good for a bar! I had the chicken fries and the bacon wrapped thingies.“

“Staff and patrons are friendly, drinks are fairly priced. Nice places to go to watch a football game they have 5 TV's going at most times and if you ask the bar tenders they are usually willing to put your game on one of the TV's. Do go on down and check it out!!!“
