Have you ever thought about how weird it is that wings and tenders are priced by amount of discrete pieces instead of by weight? Ever been shortchanged by the saddest little tenders or the tiniest and crappiest little wings ever? They will NOT do that to you here! No the numbers do not line up - I ordered 16 and got like 24 😎 it is a fair amount per dollar and the staff is kind and friendly.

The food here is made with love no matter whether you're ordering out or eating in. Real people with good food! Highly recommended.

“This was a superb chicken sandwich. I got mine hot, which was very good spice level, heat, but not crazy. The Cajun fries, fried pickles, and kale slaw were all very good sides. If you like cole slaw, do try the kale slaw. The portions of everything were robust. My only complaint would be how full I was after eating all that delicious food.“

“This place is located in a plaza, so there is plenty of parking. The inside was clean, and it was quiet for a weekday during lunchtime. My order was ready within 5-6 minutes, and service was friendly.

- Combo #7 Slider + Fries: My first bite of the chicken was dry, but the rest was moist. The breading was seasoned well, but I didn’t taste any heat from the “Hot” spice level. Nothing special about the bun, and the coleslaw added a nice contrast, but I wish there were more on the slider. Wasn’t a fan of the fries because they were bland and not crispy at all despite eating them within 5 minutes. The sauce was good, though.
- Fried Oreos ($5.99): This was my first time trying fried Oreos, and they were surprisingly better than I expected. The outside was very flaky with a mochi-like inside. The Oreo taste didn’t change after being fried, but it had more of a brownie-like texture.

We brought 2 coolers and we planned to hit as Many places as possible and all the best spots this place was the last place on our list and my back and knee were about to break but it was soo worth it. The roast pork is amazingly juicy and succulent. The soy sauce chicken was tasty and perfectly seasoned. It was soo worth the walk!!! “They serve some of the best curly fries I’ve had in Massachusetts- the seasoning was perfect. We only tried four of the wing flavors but all four were excellent. The person working was by herself but was kind and quick and pleasant. Looking forward to going back!“

“Happened to be in Watertown, googled nearby restaurants for lunch and Halfway cafe came up as a suggestion. It was only a mile away, so I decided to try it out. In business since 1964, it turned out to be a lively place with friendly staff and good food. I ordered a beer, which came with a small bowl of movie theater popcorn to much in while I waited for my grilled chicken sandwich. I enjoyed my yummy lunch while watching the French open on one of the large screen tv’s. A nice place to hang if you find yourself in Watertown.“

“I got them on Uber eats but I feel compelled to write this because this my second order and their flavors and food is on point. I live a pretty hectic life and the last thing I need is takeout that’s lackluster. If you want comfort food where you are still eating good for good price, Maaz is it! Their spicy chicken sandwich hits the spot and their lamb and chicken rice plates too!! You gotta try them once and you’ll be hooked!!! I’ll be coming back to try more foods! “Good Chinese food, amazing service. Ordered online some pork fried rice and chicken lo mein and specified there was a sesame allergy, also ordered sesame chicken. Got a phone call within <5 minutes confirming that sesame chicken does, in fact, have sesames and to double check the allergy alert in case we forgot it. I informed that someone separate would be eating the sesame chicken and when I picked up, the allergy food was separate from the rest of our order. Very nice staff and always a pleasant experience picking up.“

“I saw Jayson Tatum here yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.

He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”

I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like five orders of crab rangoons in his hands without paying.

The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.

When she took one of the bags and keyed in quantity x5, he stopped her and told her to enter each line individually “to prevent any math tricks,” and then turned around and winked at me. If he was making a joke, I guess I didn't get it. After she keyed in each individual order of rangoons and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.“

One thing I'd like to request. Please add your grape leaves to sides or make a grape leaf dinner. Your grape leaves remind me of my childhood. Stuffed with meat and rice with authentic lemon sauce. Love your grape leafs. I order the Greek salad just because it comes with a grape leaf.
