“The food was absolutely phenomenal! However, I was there for a large party this afternoon, we rented the back room. And the manager scolded us for being out on the deck because “it was a place for dinning and not for us to hangout”. we were out there trying to enjoy the view, which I feel like is a big hit for this restaurant. Mind you there were no guests seated outside anywhere close to where we were standing and we most definitely wouldn’t have been out there standing in between any tables if people were sitting out there that’s simple common courtesy. Either way she was very rude about it instead of just stating that she’d prefer for us to be inside. I might go back because the food was so good but my only hesitation is to give someone any business who is rude to guests. I worked in the restaurant industry for over 10 years and I don’t think I would have ever enjoyed working for someone who talks to guests the way she spoke to us!“

“I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant today. Their homemade corned beef hash was more like mashed potatoes and had no flavor. When I asked the server to take it off my bill, she refused, saying I'd eaten some of it. I was surprised by her response, especially given my background working in a 4-star restaurant, where we'd immediately remove an unsatisfactory dish from the bill. The server's failure to involve the manager and her argumentative tone made me feel uncomfortable. Despite my usual positive experiences here, today's visit was unfortunate. 😞😩“

“We wandered in because I am a huge fan of cider after living in England. The type of cider they make here is much closer to wine than I was used to. I’m not a fan of wine but after trying a flight of what they had to offer I can say it was unique. We purchased two bottles of winesap and Baldwin. They’re very dry. I can see their cider being very appealing to the vast majority of people, just not me.
Loves staff and wonderful owner. Amazing selection of the best tasting apples I have ever had in their fridge. They pick them at their local orchard. So while I do prefer a sweeter cider their apples are well worth the visit.“

“Attended a coat drive at Canned Heat Brewery in Fall River, hosted by YPG New England and United Way of New Bedford. The brewery was a fantastic venue for the event, located right on the water with plenty of parking. Inside, Canned Heat has a great vibe—awesome music and a welcoming atmosphere. Make sure to check out their kitchen while you’re there. The beers were excellent, with fun names like 'Where’s the Freakin Clickah' and 'Witch Doctah,' each showcasing that classic New England pronunciation. I’ll definitely be back to check this spot out again in the future!“

Last night I had one of my favorite small hot plates ; mussels topped with fries . The cream sauce is delicious and compliments the mussels so well. I usually stick with fish throughout but tonight I had the Butternut squash and goat cheese flatbread . The combination juts fits with soft center and crispy edges. I honestly could have eaten more apps and dinner because I could anticipate the flavors of each dish. in the past I've tried the duck , pork, shortribs ,pasta and many hot and cold apps. The presentatation is always eye pleasing . The combination of flavors are always on point. Love it there! I highly recommend Rivival Craft Kitchen and Bar. “First time getting takeout from Savas tonight and we got a cheese pizza for the girls, my wife got a buffalo chicken calzone and I got a steak and cheese calzone. The girls loved the pizza and the calzones were AMAZING!! The bread was so soft and tasted so fresh - I honestly would eat it without any filling, it was so good. Will definitely be going back and look forward to trying a chourico and chip sub next time. The meal was less expensive than what we typically pay for takeout for our family of four and the food was some of the best I’ve had in a long time. Very easy to see why they have so many good reviews. I very rarely go out of my way to write reviews, but we all enjoyed our meals so much that I felt compelled to share our experience. It tastes like food prepared by people who clearly take pride in what they do. 10/10“

She allowed us to make ourselves at home in the back room and worked like a magician to handle everyone's orders. Great pub food including wings, tots and fish n chips. Try the Salt n Vinegar wings! The food, the atmosphere, the staff and management all great though one waitress Donna goes above and beyond to everyone she comes in contact with and with a smile. All the help are good but Donna is above the rest, if you’ve had her for a waitress you will see for yourself. You have to try their Portuguese beans, huge portion enough for two, best in the area.. first was recommended by Donna been getting them since. Their menu is beyond reasonably priced with lots of fun things to choose.
Their home fries are out of this world. Instead of the packaged kind, the cooks make everything from scratch. Extra work that shows in the quality of their product
They have 2 entrances and exists to the establishment. Take your time reading the signs and the history that shows itself on the walls.

“My dad and I went to Jack’s Family Restaurant this weekend. My dad and I live in Pennsylvania, but with recent family events we’ve found ourselves in Rhode Island a few times within the last month. My dad said Jack’s looked “the same as it always did,” and he smiled the entire time.
