This is another drinking venue where people are allowed to bring kids. Should be 21+. Get your drink on, bring your babies and kids, then drive home. Crappy business model.

And the manager scolded us for being out on the deck because “it was a place for dinning and not for us to hangout”. we were out there trying to enjoy the view, which I feel like is a big hit for this restaurant. Mind you there were no guests seated outside anywhere close to where we were standing and we most definitely wouldn’t have been out there standing in between any tables if people were sitting out there that’s simple common courtesy. Either way she was very rude about it instead of just stating that she’d prefer for us to be inside. I might go back because the food was so good but my only hesitation is to give someone any business who is rude to guests. I worked in the restaurant industry for over 10 years and I don’t think I would have ever enjoyed working for someone who talks to guests the way she spoke to us!“

“I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant today. Their homemade corned beef hash was more like mashed potatoes and had no flavor. When I asked the server to take it off my bill, she refused, saying I'd eaten some of it. I was surprised by her response, especially given my background working in a 4-star restaurant, where we'd immediately remove an unsatisfactory dish from the bill. The server's failure to involve the manager and her argumentative tone made me feel uncomfortable. Despite my usual positive experiences here, today's visit was unfortunate. 😞😩“

“It was a happy accident that I stumbled upon this place driving by. Glad I stopped in. Got the two meat plate, brisket and pulled pork, fries and baked beans for sides. Meat was very tender and had good flavor. Not sure why they gave me a knife for utensils because I didn't need it! Brisket is cut into chunks rather than strips with some burnt ends left in, just like I like it. The rib juice and sweet heat sauces were pretty tasty too. Will have to make a stop in again!“

“Attended a coat drive at Canned Heat Brewery in Fall River, hosted by YPG New England and United Way of New Bedford. The brewery was a fantastic venue for the event, located right on the water with plenty of parking. Inside, Canned Heat has a great vibe—awesome music and a welcoming atmosphere. Make sure to check out their kitchen while you’re there. The beers were excellent, with fun names like 'Where’s the Freakin Clickah' and 'Witch Doctah,' each showcasing that classic New England pronunciation. I’ll definitely be back to check this spot out again in the future!“

I like the window to the kitchen so you can see the chefs and it affords easy access to the plates for the wait staff. McKenna was our waitress and she was Great - attentive and helpful on suggestions. The food was Excellent! All their items are made in house - sauces, dressings, toppings, Burgers, Corned Beef etc!We started with the salt and vinegar Sprouts - oh the flavor and the bacon fat mmm, mmm!!! Then we had the Classic Smash Burger with a GF bun for our GF daughter! Outstanding! Then the wife had the Mediterranean Burger - really tasty! Very eclectic but it works! The outdoor space is deceiving compared to the inside. If they were open after 10pm, we would have gone back! She was friendly, welcoming, and attentive, without being intrusive or overbearing. I started with a bowl of their soup of the day, a black bean and corn soup. It was very tasty with pieces of bacon, onions, tomatoes, and a slight touch of spicy heat. 😋 For our entrees, the Bride-to-Be chose the chicken parm while I opted for the spicy crispy fried chicken sandwich. She's a bit of a chicken parm snob, but she said this was perfect! Thin, crispy breaded chicken cutlets smothered in a tasty sauce and plenty of cheese, served over rigatoni. My sandwich was great, with the perfect amount of heat (think a slightly milder Nashville hot chicken). Overall a great experience and we will definitely be back!“

The food, the atmosphere, the staff and management all great though one waitress Donna goes above and beyond to everyone she comes in contact with and with a smile. All the help are good but Donna is above the rest, if you’ve had her for a waitress you will see for yourself. You have to try their Portuguese beans, huge portion enough for two, best in the area.. first was recommended by Donna been getting them since. You have to try this place once for yourself you will be glad you did

They have 2 entrances and exists to the establishment. Take your time reading the signs and the history that shows itself on the walls.
