“We were at your Plymouth location last night and to say it was amazing is an understatement!!! The food was so fresh and flavorful! The dumplings were very light, we ate all 10 of them! The paneer was perfect and the naan was light yet crispy. Pravin was so knowledgeable and the best company. If we are ever in town again, we will definitely be visiting! 10 out of 10!!“

“Dinner party for 8, we were a little late but they were very accommodating. We started with Samosas which came with two sauces a chutney and sweet. For entrees, I had the Chicken Biriyani, Chicken Cochin Curry, Palak Paneer, and the Rogan Josh Goat Curry with Garlic Naan. The curries came with a small bowl of white rice. My favorite curry was the Rogan Josh Goat Curry. The meat was tender with spices nicely infused to create a wonderful and smooth taste. I also ordered a Masala Chai which was the perfect temperature to sip! Overall a fantastic experience and would highly recommend. I will be coming back again!“

“Wow tikka, was wow! Had ordered kachori chaat and Vada pav, lassi and masala tea. Kachori chaat was the best ever kachori I have had in the US so far. Vada was a bit salty and they can better it. Comes in quantity of 2 both the items. Kachori chat is enough for one person though. Lassi and masala tea was fine.
Good for price, clean and enough sitting inside and outside.
Vegetarian options: Indian street food, curries etc.“

“Living nearby, Kantipur has become my go-to every week for quarantine takeout. I've tried all the chicken dishes about 3 times by now and I still can't decide which is the best! But my favorite menu item is the vegetable pakora appetizer. Dip it in the chutney sauce and you'll understand. 🎁🎊“

“I stopped into Taste of India today and was blown away by the service and the food. The owner is one of the kindest people I’ve met—he took time to make me feel welcome, offered me a sample without hesitation, and explained everything with care. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does and treats every customer like family.
The grilled chicken with sautéed veggies was delicious—perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. Even the mango lassi hit the spot! The flavors were fresh and authentic, and the atmosphere was laid-back and clean.
Definitely one of the best Indian spots I’ve been to. If you're looking for good food and even better people, this is the place. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“This is the second time in one week my friend and I have chosen this restaurant as our destination for food, drinks, and merriment and we were not disappointed. The staff is a delight, both times we were greeted with a warm smile and they were very knowledgeable recommending dishes and levels of spice. The naan bread is delicious and the appetizers and entrees we ordered were amazing as well bursting with so much flavor. The cocktails were crafted with precision and so much passion from the wonderful bartender. The live music is great! We definitely recommend Chulo restaurant and plan on returning again and again!“

“This is some of the best Indian food if not some of the best food in general I've ever had. Tikli masala flavor was beautiful. I mean realllllyyyyy spot on. Also got the spicy goat. Perfect amount of spice. Only thing I will say is there was a lot of small pebble sized bones I was biting into and it was a bit concerning. Other than that this was truly something special. I would eat here everyday if it could. So good👍“

“Vaisakhi is the breath of fresh air that the restaurant scene in this little corner of Brighton and all of Cleveland Circle needs. Finally a sit down, casual Indian place that's reasonably priced and doesn't require half an hour each way on the T to get to! Even on their first day open, their food is better than several of the Indian restaurants in the Boston area that I've eaten at. Tucked away across from the Sutherland Road T stop, you can follow your nose to the doorstep of the restaurant. The interior tastefully restrained, bright colors and some simple paintings above the booths. The space is small, but not cramped and the booth seating at least was very comfortable. The three gentlemen who own/run the front of the house are eager to please. We were seated right away and given water and menus. The menu is comprehensive without being too large and confusing. The vegetarian, and meat sections are both equally sized, so there's plenty of options for both vegetarians and meat eaters alike. My wife and I started out with the vegetable pakoras. These little fritters of batter and veggies were served hot, with a little bit of salty spice powder and dipping sauces. The crunchy shell pairs nicely with the soft veggies inside and tastes amazing when you put a bit of the red onion chutney on it. For our main course we ordered the saag paneer and the dal makhani, two of our favorite vegetarian dishes in Indian cuisine. The dal makhani was subtle, not overly spiced and not overly rich like many I've had. The lentils weren't rock hard or cooked into mush. The star of the show was definitely the saag paneer though. The saag was so wonderfully rich and smooth and spiced perfectly, and the paneer was the perfect texture, not too soft and mushy and now dry and crumbly. We decided to leave room for some desert and tried both the gulab jamun and the kheer. The kheer was a bit under seasoned for my taste, not enough rose water or cardamom and a bit on this thin side, but it served as a nice palate cleanser. The gulab jamun was excellent, the syrup not too sweet or floral and the balls had a nice subtle flavor to them as well. I'm lucky enough to live right around the corner from Vaisakhi, but I would gladly travel a lot further for this food.“

“Went out for a late night drive and was glad to have come across this place at midnight. Got a quick snack of samosas, masala chai and masala lassi. The service was fast and friendly.
This is a fast casual spot so the lassi came bottled and the chai came out of a dispenser machine. Everything was decent but nothing to write home about. The prices felt a little steep at $5 for a samosa and $4 for each drink.“

“I ordered from Shiva's Kitchen on Door Dash - a Mysore Masala Dosa and Paneer Tikka Masala. I was so impressed by how delicious the food was and also how much food there was.
I often think that places skimp out on their delivery food (especially dosas, what is it about dosas that they make a bad delivery food?), but their dosa was INCREDIBLE. Just loaded with potato masala, and the masala was flavorful and varied with spices and other things.“

“Had an awesome experience here! Ordered the chicken coconut curry and was great! They were so nice to even give us all complementary rice (besides the naan) and mango lassi. Food was done in 15 minutes and tasted great. Very friendly staff. Important to note that it is takeaway only, orders through the app or in person.
Vegetarian options: A large variety of vegetarian options ranging from paneer to chenna to more.“

“In my opinion, this is the best Indian restaurant in the Boston metropolitan area. The quality of the food is outstanding—every dish is full of rich, authentic flavors and clearly made with care and top-notch ingredients.
The food is on the spicier side, something to keep in mind if you’re sensitive to heat. While the prices are on the higher end, I believe it’s worth it for the quality, taste, and overall experience.“

“This is clearly the best Indian food in the greater Boston area by a long mile. All the dishes have perfect consistency, are very tasty and aromatic, have fresh ingredients, and have a special savory quality above other Indian restaurants. Also, the chefs will make the food based on your preference of spiciness (and I've actually ordered vindaloo, which is supposed to be spicy, in other local restaurants that was served mild!) no matter what the dish. The selection is larger and more interesting that at any other local restaurant, with a good selection of special dishes, breads, and dosas in addition to all the traditional dishes. There is an amazingly good selection of several draft and bottled beers (for example, Night Shift and Jacks Abby offerings on tap, and Dogfish Head and others in bottles), which is EXTREMELY rare for Indian restaurants, which usually serve the worst quality beers. Finally, the location (Arlington Center, with plenty of on street parking) and inside decor are great, with a modern and stylish interior with comfortable seating. The wait staff is always friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable. So, if you want to have the best experience in Indian dining (even if the dishes are a dollar or two more expensive), make Punjab your destination. I've been to dozens of other local Indian restaurants over the past 37 years and this is by far the best one!“

“Arrived at hospital an hour and a half early with plenty of time for lunch! This wonderful and authentic Indian restaurant was just the solution I needed! I asked for medium heat on my chicken curry and it was quite spicy! 🌶️ very delicious! This is more of a takeaway place but they have a few tables. Super nice staff! Curry 🍛 was great! Trays and plastic cutlery. My only complaint is I needed more napkins. Super happy with my impromptu luncheon!“

“We primarily ordered North Indian fares and all dishes were superb. We especially loved the lamb & sheekh kababs, Vindaloo that came with the Nirvana dinner and the Fish pakoras. The owners were very nice too. Will highly recommend this place.“
“Quality is that of what I would imagine an authentic street-side indian vendor would resemble. Prices are definitely fair for what's offered in comparison to more "upscale" indian restaurants. This is more of a bare bones, no frills type of place. As mentioned, it could easily be popped out of a street-side shop in Mumbai and implanted in Boston . Been going here for last 10 Years and love the quality and authentic indian food here !!“
