“Alyssya was our waitress this evening. She is such a sweet, friendly, lovely gal. We had just come from the airport, exhausted and hungry, Alyssa was so accommodating and truly awesome! Also, I wanted to mention that the manager, Daniel was really impressive. My husband ordered a manhattan from the bar and it tasted funny. We sent it back and the manager immediately came to our table and remade it himself. It was delicious. Both Alyssa, & Daniel went above & beyond.“

“Hands down best bar in Boston. It's this generation version of cheers. Amazing to watch any game in and if you're not a Pat's even better. Although I miss the OG huevos rancheros the food is always on point and I've never had a bad meal there. I bike from beacon Hill where I'm surrounded by bars but theres only one I'd go out of my way to catch a game or grab brunch. It's parlor sports. I'll fight anyone that says otherwise to the above.“

“First time at Olde Magoun's Saloon. Beyond amazing food and service. Our waiter ( didn't catch him name) tall gentleman with a beard was phenomenal! Friendly and efficient!!! The food was savory and fresh. We enjoyed the Irish Chicken Curry and the Besto Pesto sandwich!! First time to Boston and by far our favorite meal here.“

“Nice music and atmosphere and the food is really good, the place is so spacious and the staff is friendly and professional but laid back. Just one thing I didn't know before coming here for the first time that they add the tip into your drink order already. You can decide if you want to tip for food. I just didn't like that the tip was already included in the drink cost because you should be able to choose just like with the food. But overall its very nice and I will go back.“

“This is a great neighborhood bar. While we didn't eat, we saw quite a few plates pass by and were very impressed. The drinks were great and the staff very friendly. Perfect spot to watch sports and especially the Detroit Lions as they have Lions watch parties for every game!“

“Everything was AMAZING from the food to the service. I was really surprised how fresh and tasty everything was for being a bar. Jordan and Andrea were the best and shout out to the kitchen because they did their thing! Side note: the bathrooms were clean and well stocked!“

The pretzel bites were possibly the best I've had so far - would definitely recommend those.
The buffalo dip was alright.

For a main I tried the cajun linguine with added shrimp. Shrimp was definitely a great edition. Chicken was a bit dry. The flavor was all there though.

Service was also good.

TVs were all playing, but it wasn't overly loud so we could still talk to one another at a normal volume.

Would recommend giving this place a try.“

“Located by Gate B entrance. Lots of cool memorabilia and perfect place to get out of bad weather. Access requires certain ticket access so it's not available for everyone. It does not overlook the field but lots of TVs to watch the game.“

“I've been pretty much a regular customer every at The Sporting Club, every Thursday night (some Fridays) over the past year, since I started a new job in the Seaport. The main reason I continue to go back to the Sporting Club on Thurs nights and pay (let's face it) exorbitant prices for drinks is because my favorite bartender, Chris (I'm sorry, I don't know his last name) was ALWAYS there on Thur after work to greet me with a smile & good conversation. Where has he been? 🤔
I just have one request: Could you please put Chris back on the schedule on Thurs nights.. Otherwise, I'm going to have to find another bar in the neighborhood to spend my Thursday nights after work..

“The only complaint we have is that while we were eating, the door to the outside open terrace was opened repeatedly for the staff to do something out there which introduced cold air in the main dining room that directly affected our table. Otherwise our group enjoyed our lunch choices.“

“The food is usually quite good on site but take out is another story. The prices on the website do not accurately reflect what they are charging in store. The steak tips are not the correct cut and taste like stew meat or something. It's not well seasoned. The hosts in front does nothing and stays on their cell phone. Slipping....“

We got the Salvadorean combination appetizer, every item was delicious but there was one sweet item that was like a battered and fried plantain with sweet cream that was (not really an appetizer more or a dessert, but) absolutely delicious. As a female, I often stop in alone for a beer, appetizer and keno and feel perfectly safe.
That's not always the case in other place's so, that's why I choose to stop in occasionally.“

“The server was so nice and great! My rice in my sesame salmon bowl was one big blob of rice, very sticky and some of it was not edible. I didn't complain because I was with a bug group. That should be an easy fix if they took the time to check the rice before leaving the kitchen.“

“My family and I just returned from the Charles River Chapter of the Bay State Council of the Blind Holiday Party at John Brewers. It’s at least the 12th year we have been going there. Everyone is so friendly and attentive. The food is always good and they provide braille menus. We all had a great time.“
