“Out for a Friday after Christmas drive and we came across the Picket Fence for breakfast. I am in love with this place! The building is quaint both inside and out. It has such a welcoming feel. The servers were friendly and attentive and the food was yummy! Although we live about 30 minutes away, we will definitely be coming back! 👍👍”

Be Warned: this is a cash only establishment, but it is totally worth it! My family raved about the quality....my only gripe is I was too late to try the clam cakes, because they were sold out. “Solid place! Well worth the stop and a sizable improvement over large chain coffee stores for both food and drip coffee. I got a jalapeno bagel and could taste a pleasant amount of heat. Expanding to espresso options would be one way to improve on a good thing”

“Absolutely blown away by the quality. Canned Amazin delivers with natural ingredients and incredible flavor. Everything tastes fresh, like it was cooked right there in the kitchen. I had the pizza with no pepperoni — instead, it came with two kinds of spicy, sliced, dried cured meats that were SO much better. Truly the most flavorful pizza I’ve ever had. Mine had cherry tomatoes, red onion, and a bunch of other amazing toppings that came together perfectly. And the summer salad? 10/10. Fresh, crisp, delicious. Highly recommend!”

“First time at First Bite today for brunch - everything we ordered was excellent. Our new favorite breakfast spot. Flights of waffles, pancakes and french-toast, eggs-benedict (Irish) with corned beef hash and what had to be a homemade english muffin, bagel breakfast egg & cheese sandwich and junior breakfast with CRISPY BACON - they asked how you want it regular or crispy. Love THAT. And the hollandaise sauce spot on! Great coffees too.”

“We didn't have time to have lunch before the Indian Ranch Maverick's Concerts on Saturday so we were starving after the Concert. Our other "go to Restaurant, The Lodge was closed and For Sale so we went to Saloon 6! The packing lot was packed so we thought we would never be able to get in and have lunch, but after a short 15 minute wait were seated. Very friendly Waitresses Fun Atmosphere and awesome food! We both had the Burgers which were delicious as were the french fries. Wish there was a Saloon 6 near Marblehead!”

“I came here for dinner tonight for Burgers and Beers night. Did not disappoint! While I don’t drink, I did indulge in “making my own burger” which was delicious and filling. My waitress was attentive and pleasant, despite the busy lounge area. (I’m sorry I don’t remember your name!) Would highly recommend to anyone looking for an affordable (because the quality wasn’t cheap!) and tasty meal, stop in! I might make this a weekly after work ritual.
