“I go here almost every Wednesday when the weather is cold with a group for trivia night. Though it's a small restaurant and bar, they keep the food consistent, reasonable prices, and none of us have yet to have a bad meal. The staff is friendly and offers great service. Good comfort food and nice local people.“

“Cash only. I really want to give five stars, the staff is very friendly, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is homey, however... it's pretty tight quarters. Waiting for a seat can be tricky as there isn't really anywhere to wait. The food is really good, the corned beef hash is homemade and tasty but it's consistency is very similar to premade. The pancakes are excellent and huge. Prices are on the high side but you do actually get what you pay for here. Overall a great place for breakfast.“

“Stopped in with friends who have been here before but it was our first time and we were very impressed! Hard location if you don't know you might drive right by, small inside but don't let that fool you. The portions were great. The staff was so nice and very informative. And the choices of food had a great variety. Loved the specials as well! Loved that it's a scratch kitchen. Everything came out hot and perfectly cooked! The best part though I have to say is the home made carrot cake!“

“I just have to tell you the food is top-notch. They're very nice there their hospitable their courteous the food is top-notch the service is great. They bring the food to you after you place your order they don't give you a hard time. They are awesome and the ambience is so phenomenal. “Let me start by saying the staff is so friendly and inviting that if I lived closer I'd be a regular regardless of the coffee and food, which is superb. The home fries are golden and crunchy on the outside and with a soft potatoey inside. They were the first thing that disappeared off my plate. My guest got her own rendition of eggs florientine add ham, tomato and feta. Great combo made to order no questions asked. Big Belly is my local spot for food and coffee. “Me and my wife moseyed our way to a new restaurant this weekend and wow was I impressed the food wasn't the spotlight but dam was the service was out of this world. There was a amazing worker that was pre bussing our tables like no other. I saw him buss a table in under 30 seconds with such precision he needs a raise. We had to ask for his name. Nick godam Mate needs a raise and our server Jess was alright.“

“The food is wonderful! Don’t miss out on the cheese, bacon, and potato kegs. They are super tasty. Maybe due to the lighting (there was a live show that night) The buffalo chicken wrap looked like coleslaw in a tortilla, but it had great taste, texture and heat. We can’t wait to eat there again.“

“The fries are greasy but good, the salad is mostly just iceberg lettuce with too much Italian dressing. I didn't eat the chicken, pasta or bread so I didn't rate those. We were in the carriage room which is pretty much long tables in a painted barn. Nice but plain.Vegetarian options: The bread has milk in it and the pasta sauce is made with chicken fat. Salad and French fries are ok. I wouldn't have chosen this restaurant but it was a family event“

“Came for murder mystery show which was wonderful. Allergies were attempted to be accommadated. Night of the event. There were several food hiccups,but did try to fix. Unfortunsately the substituted food was unsatisfactory. Scheduled food for my guest he said was veru good. Still waiting on company to return call to address the issues of the night.Dietary restrictions: The event coordinator did her best to accommadate food allegies. Dispite current hiccup situation i would recommend going if no allegies exist.“

“I got to say the first couple of times my service was so bad I walked out I gave them another chance the last time I went was the best service I had ever seen and after I ordered my food ..it was really less than 10 minutes and the food was great I'm glad I gave this place another chance it was totally worth it“

“We went on a busy Saturday night, it was busy but good. I tried a XO Chocolate Martini, it was strong and basically tasted like straight up vodka with a hint of chocolate. They took that drink back and made me a strawberry daiquiri, that was much better. My sirloin steak tips were cooked to perfection, and the mashed potatoes were good as well. All in all a great place to eat dinner.“

“A local dive watering place. Visited for lunch and it was hopping. The bartender/ waitress was awesome. Attentive to her bar and her table guests. The broccoli Cheddar soup was tasty and a good start to lunch. The taco salad was basic but good. The taco shell was crispy and not oily- awesome. I did add some ranch so it was not dry- highly recommend. Overall a good lunch and suggest you give it a visit.“

“Small but fast service. Usually stop Saturday and Sunday on the way to Market 32. My breakfast is usually apple pie topping on texas, french toast or pancakes 12 inch each. Either 1 to 4 each. My wife likes a simpler breakfast with Popeye French toast. Middle of toast round cutout with fried egg in hole, get fried toast hole on side. Prices were not raised as high during recession as chains. . .Parking: Plenty of spots.Kid-friendliness: More adults than kids. Mostly singles and couples. The staff remembers guests ons weekly visits. Fast Service. Coffee cups kept full. Very friendly. Customers will change seats to accommodate new customers.“

“My husband and I and two of our kids stopped in for dinner a couple nights ago. I haven’t been to the whistle stop in many years, but we decided to give it a shot. The food was great. Our server Lacey was phenomenal. Very sweet and incredibly friendly. She made sure we were well taken care of the entire time we were there despite how busy she was. Between the food and the excellent service we will definitely be returning!“

“My recent first visit to lunch at Mendon Street Kitchen in downtown Uxbridge, Massachusetts was a delightful experience. We took our two grandchildren. The outside dining area has great atmosphere with umbrella tables and fun decorations that appeal to adults and children. Our grandchildren loved the grilled cheese with bacon sandwich. My lobster roll was delicious, and my wife enjoyed her BLT sandwich. I learned that Mendon Street Kitchen is a proud sponser of "First Night," a huge Christmas parade in downtown Uxbridge each December. Mendon Street Kitchen is a wonderful boutique eatery. My compliments to the owner chef.“

“Everytime I go to 88’s the menu comes through. Mai tai skewers are super tender. Seafood dishes of salmon and haddock are awesome. Tenderloin tips are super tender. Only reason I haven’t rattled off more food items is because I have to make return trips to get through the rest of the menu. Good portions, good vibes, nice and cosmopolitan atmosphere.“

“I have to tell you, all the food is awesome. My family and I order from here often. I play in a hockey league twice a week and alot of the league members look forward to going to the Western afterwards, wether we win or lose. The restaurant and bar in great to unwind with all the league players, have a couple drinks and eat some pizza and and wings. All the food is fantastic but hockey night is pizza and wings, LOL. Get the pepperoni well done, I love it, this is not fast food pizza, one pizza can feed a family of 3 to 4, just so you know. It gets busy some times on the "hockey" nights when we are there but the staff goes above and beyond to accommodate everyone, sometimes the server is alone in the bar by herself, tending to the tables and the bar because the kitchen staff is overwhelmed from all the ordering, in the restaurant and take out yet they all make everyone feel welcome. “It was are first time at 118 Main St Friday at 5:15pm. We sat at the bar they give you crackers with spreadable cheese. Homemade Sour mix for Margaritas absolutely delicious and started with grilled kielbasa appetizer. I ordered Grilled Elk special was fantastic the wife had their Squash Raviolis the sauce was delicious. The service was exceptional bartender new her job with a packed bar. We didn’t have deserts but there ice cream ball covered in chocolate served with whip cream looked good for next time…“

“It's a small place so the bathrooms are cramped. They also don't serve food, only drinks. But they did order pizza when we went there and fed everyone so that was cool. They have great decorations. This place is awesome for live music.“

“I ate at the Lodge tonight and had a wonderful dinner. Wood fired chicken Parmesan and a coffee with cheesecake drizzled liberally with caramel. Everything was delicious from start to finish! They also had easy listening Eagles in the background. I’m definitely eating here again!“
