A welcome difference from the pricey, touristy restaurants of Falmouth. We enjoyed the freshly prepared Portuguese-influenced seafood dinners. The sauces have depth and a careful preparation that tastes like someone's Grandma made them. Everyone in the restaurant is kind, friendly, and welcoming. Took home a few of the beautiful deserts to sample later.
I was hungry for a nice breakfast sandwich, and that is just what I got at The Portuguese. I ordered the ham, egg, and cheese. The customer service was terrific, the woman who took my order and made my sandwich was the kind of person you hope to encounter in the restaurant industry but rarely do. The sandwich was scrumptious. I added the orange carrot juice and a chocolate mousse for later!
I placed an order this weekend for my husband birthday party. The restaurant was well recommended from a friend of mine. Their quality is amazing and I couldn't be happier with my choice.I would like to mention that they have an Excellent customer service, Célia always answered my questions right away, helped me with all the details, from choosing the dishes to delivery. The food was delicious, very well prepared, very well packaged, all the guests loved it and everyone...
