When we walked in we were a little overwhelmed with what to order and a very friendly employee approached us and asked if she could help. So informative and sweet! Our food was out of this world. “We had the rueben and some chicken wings. Both yummy. Great fries and not too many. Hot and crunchy. It was a rainy night and the AC was blowing on us. I'm guessing it's a good atmosphere for a warm summer day but for us cold, not helped by a table of heavily drinking golfers who were loud, and super crude. The hard surfaces amplified their noise. We should have sat with everyone else at the other end of the restaurant with everyone else. It was too late by the time we figured it out. Staff was awesome. Tara and Mike.“

“We happened to be in Orleans and decided to grab an early dinner at The Barley Neck. We started with a dozen raw oysters and a bottle of French Chardonnay. The oysters were so fresh and delicious we ordered a second dozen. My husband had a lobster pasta dish for his entree and I had a Thai style tuna steak. Both were delicious, but a special thumbs up for the tuna. It was without a doubt the BEST tuna steak I’ve ever had! We finished with the pineapple upside down cake special! O.M.G. Everything was consistently amazing. The service was attentive and welcoming! From beginning to end the experience as a whole was on point! 10 out of 10!“

“We had a party of six and I am always a little concerned when I see tons of available reservations on open table for a particular restaurant. But in this case, I think it's just a matter of people maybe not wanting to go to a golf club restaurant that may be considered a little harder to get to. We sat outside on a beautiful summer evening and had wonderful drinks, appetizers, and our main meals were exceptional. Really no complaints whatsoever.“

“I've been going to Szechuan Delight for decades... and I usually order their crispy fish with brown rice with a side dish of broccoli sautéed with fresh garlic... I love it. It's a deep fried grouper in garlic & ginger with peas and carrots. I've held multiple dinner parties there and we have always been well taken care of.

Service is excellent - our waters were constantly refilled and even at the late hour, our server still made small talk and joked around with us. The noodles and fried rice we ordered had really good flavour and the portions were generous. I was really looking forward to eating my leftover pad thai for breakfast!“
