“5 stars all the way with this one. Rated as "The Best Seafood in America." The restaurant has received many awards and I can see why. The fried clams, are second to none. Sweet and tasty. The onion rings are also excellent. Supposedly, the first clam was fried here in the town of Essex. Woodman's has been cited as "an American Cult Classic-right up there with baseball and apple pie." It has a full bar, it is family friendly & has excellent water views. The fried clams served here are the best I have ever eaten.“

“Fresh lobster. I recommend to pick female with the right season because of their eggs is the best not just the body part. Always very long line but worth of time to wait! Second floor very quiet and serene with a long table and seat, good for family Recommend for traveler who visiting around there. Place for memory.

“Went here for some snacks during my visit. Not a huge selection on the baked goods but good enough variety that it didn't bother me. I went here because it was a gluten free option and I need that for my allergies. I had a red velet cupcake, and a sweet heavy cake plus a fruity pebbles rice crispy treat my husband had a cookie but he didn't care for it but I loved everything I had! He did loved my fruity pebbles treat! It looks so clean in here and the service was nice the guy at the register was fast and pleasent! I highly recommend you stop here if you need gluten free treats!

“I can’t recommend Three Sweet Peas enough for anyone looking for a delicious and beautiful wedding cake! From start to finish, they made the entire process so easy and stress-free. We loved the cake tasting, where we got to sample different flavors and choose the perfect one for our big day. Their team, especially Angela Daley, was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the design process and making sure our cake matched our vision. It was one part of the wedding planning we didn’t have to worry about, and it turned out absolutely perfect. The cake not only looked stunning but tasted amazing as well. We’re so glad we chose Three Sweet Peas and highly recommend them!“

““Pure Pastry” was highly recommended by “Cakes for Occasions” because they couldn’t make a Vegan cake. So I called and asked Kim to make my son who is a Vegan an all Vegan birthday cake. We were all pleasantly surprised at how delicious and moist his chocolate cake was with vanilla cream frosting with strawberries in the middle and on top was. Five people ate this cake and we all loved the taste. It looked beautiful too. Another thing I also love about this bakery is the cake box. The cake fit in the box very nicely and on the top you could see the cake through a see through film which was an elegant touch. My son’s cake was so good that I had to order a Vegan strawberry vanilla cake for my birthday too. I can’t wait to get it. Kim is so very friendly and such a nice person and she is very easy to get a hold of on the phone. I very highly recommend Kim and “Pure Pastry” for all of your pastry needs.“

“10/10 consistently amazing food every single time we’ve eaten in or gotten take out. Hadn’t been in nearly ten years but decided to try it out after hearing about new ownership and a new menu and woooooow. Might be a different vibe than the previous incarnation of the restaurant,
but I personally think all of the changes are an extreme improvement. Prices seem high but the portions are excellent and you really get what you pay for in terms of quality. Likewise — maybe not as “fancy,” but the high grade of food and the menu selection fills the hole that True Bistro in Somerville left behind when they closed.

“My two favorite foods sound boring to some, but I can't help it -- I'm a savory food kind of person. I love nachos and I love BLTs, and it's amazing how many places have managed to not do these two things well. I have never been able to find a place that can make a good BLT, until now!I needed a quick lunch today and went here on a whim because it was close by. I saw they were closing soon, but there were people inside so I headed in. Sometimes small, local coffee shops can feel drafty or unkempt or just lifeless. As soon as I walked in, I felt like I'd want to sit there for hours. The temperature was just right, and the ambiance felt friendly and warm.I acknowledged that they were closing soon and asked if I could still order a sandwich. They replied in a way that felt welcoming, and not like I was imposing on them (which some places, 15 minutes prior to closing, would have). I ordered the BLT and used the restroom while I waited. Even the restroom was pleasant!I sat in one of the two window bays on a comfortable stool (again, perfect! sometimes they're way too high for a 4'10" to get up on, or off), with a complimentary cup of water (I love when cafes have serve yourself water). One of the servers brought my sandwich over and even on first glance I could tell it was going to be good. No wilted lettuce, no weird bread, perfect amount of mayo and bacon. It was the best BLT I've had at a restaurant, even better than I make at home.So, 5 stars for great ambiance, friendly, unrushed service, and a great BLT! I have no doubt that their other food is just as good.“

“Pomodori saved our wedding!! Our original catered cancelled last second, literally an hour before we were serving lunch. I called Pomodori’s and they came with absolutely delicious pasta and pizza to serve our guests! Everyone was raving over the food and we cannot say enough kind words about Zach and the rest of the staff! They were so kind, helpful, delivering to us and saving the wedding! “First of all this place is inside of a Plaza. I didn't know that before I got there but I do now. They have a very nice bar that seems to be pretty long accommodate plenty of guests. There is also lots of seating inside. I had the clam chowder and a pulled pork sandwich. The clam chowder was excellent. One of the better ones in the area for sure. Seemed to me like it was possibly homemade. The pulled pork sandwich was big and stuffed. I'll eat it twice. The fries that came with this were cooked to perfection. And they were good hand shaved fries. Are the people that my table had steak, Burger, chicken, and everything was delicious. This is a good place to take a client for an afternoon meal. It's also away from a lot of the hustle and bustle of Danvers. Just a good place to go and a good overall experience.“
