This stuff is amazing!!! I never thought anyone would ever convert me from ice cream but I think you just did it.

“Somehow my girlfriend and I can always find the stomach space for dessert here if we’re in the area. I would hesitate to suggest any dessert here even ones I haven’t tasted because the quality we’ve experienced so far have been so good.

Food: The shaved ice was the dessert that brought us in and the one we go back because the ice is so fluffy and the combination of sweetness and texture makes it so easy to finish. But everything else we’ve tried even dishes completely new to us were a serious treat.

Service: Staff is always welcoming and pleasant and really do a great job keeping the place clean especially with all the sticky foods.

Atmosphere: The shop really captures childish joy where you can just dig in and devour some sweets. The anime and the figures also give you endless things for your eyes to wonder off to.“

“I had an amazing experience at Chip City Boston thanks to Yandel! He was super friendly, welcoming, and made the whole visit feel personal. He took the time to explain the different cookie flavors and gave great recommendations. The cookies were incredible, but honestly Yandel’s energy and customer service made the experience even better. Definitely coming back—and I’ll be looking for Yandel when I do!“

“I have never ordered a sundae before, never finished the entire thing with a smile, and never felt like I needed to go to an ice cream shop weekly until I came here. It's a good thing it's juuust far enough away from my house to not entice me daily.

EVERYTHING is vegan! And I was so impressed with the flavors. They didn't make up for any lacks with more sugar either. I felt satisfied and like the flavor I got was well-balanced, with it being birthday cake, a flavor I never get for fear of it being weird or overly sweet. It was perfect. Their lemon flavor I tried was amazing too.

Bánh Dùa (Pandan flavor)
- Amazing chewy texture filled with pandan custard and coconut shreds
- Comes in pandan, ube, or durian flavor, and I will come back to try the rest!

“I’m so glad this place is finally open. I must say most of their cakes are very unique that you can’t find anywhere in Boston. I was told they make them freshly in house daily rotate different cakes everyday which is great. I tried the ube towel cake, hojicha latte and strawberry matcha latte. The Ube towel cake was fun to eat and has a strong ube flavor. Their drinks menu is so very unique and tasty. I would recommend to come here on a weekday because this place is super busy crazy on the weekend.“

Today I came for the new bingsu , and I highly recommend the coconut for people who prefer light sugar and mango with extra syrup for those who like 100% sugar. “The mochi in the black sesame soup was amazing. You bite into it and such a sweet flavor seeps out of it and the texture is perfect. I believe this mochi in this soup is different from the regular mochi. The black sesame soup was standard, I think it would be nicer if it was strained so the sesame pieces don't get caught up. I would go again for the mochi.“

“I really liked this little place. They had a good variety of flavors. Loved the burnt caramel. The fruity cereal was OK too, but the bourbon maple pecan was my favorite out of the three. Despite the line it moved pretty quick too, so dont let that sway you. Worth a try.“

“Warm and inviting spot with friendly staff. The grass jelly soup with taro was perfect on a cold day—sweet, herbal, and authentic. The boba tofu was excellent—chewy and not too sweet. Likely an even better experience if you're familiar with these traditional desserts. Highly recommend for a comforting treat!“

“Insomnia Cookies is my go-to spot whenever I’m craving something sweet late at night. The cookies are usually warm, soft in the middle, and super satisfying — especially the classics like Chocolate Chunk and Snickerdoodle. When they’re fresh out of the oven, they really hit the spot.

That said, the experience can be a little inconsistent. During busy hours, wait times get long, and delivery can sometimes show up colder than expected. Prices are on the higher side as well, especially if you’re ordering multiple items or adding ice cream.

Overall, though, it’s a fun late-night treat with a great variety of flavors, and the convenience is hard to beat. When they’re warm and fresh, they’re absolutely worth it.“
