Chip City is a hidden gem, a bit tough to find inside a larger building away from Harvard Square. It offers excellent cookies that are absolutely delicious, with an extremely wide variety of specialty cookies with different compositions and flavors that change regularly. Cookies like cookies and cream and the potato chocolate chip cookie, which offers a perfect balance between savory and sweet, are highlights. The cookies are fresh and warm when bought, though consistency can vary; a dry cookie may result from being baked too long, but when done right they are soft, warm, moist, and incredible. They also serve delicious ice cream, like the Chocolate S'mores. The cookies are pricy, but buying a three-pack offers a small savings. Seating is very limited to two small tables. The service consistently stands out, with staff described as fantastic, kind, patient, knowledgeable, super engaged, and pumped to see customers, making visits particularly welcoming.
