“We live only a few minutes down the road and this was our first time coming! Great atmosphere and bartenders Tammy and Wendy! They work hard and always make sure your good with your drinks and food. We had a pizza and baked stuffed scrod everything was great ? we will be back for karaoke!?“
“Friday nights we go to dinner with another couple. At their suggestion we decided to try The Icehouse. We looked at previous reviews and weren't sure about our choice as there were many negative comments mostly about the service. Those reviewers obviously did not have Tracey as their server. We got there about 6:00 on a Friday night, the bar side was full and I asked if I could put my name in for a table. The lady brought me to an empty on the other side and sat me. When I explained that the rest of the party wasn't there yet, she smiled and said it wasn't a problem. Another server brought over a couple of place settings and ensured me that our server would be by to take our drink order. She came over immediately took our drink order an acknowledged that we were expecting two more people. As soon as they came in and got settled she came to get their drink order. Tracy was so cheerful and friendly and quickly returned with their drinks. She asked if we needed a little more time with the menu and said she could come back. When she returned she took our appetizer order and said she'd put that in then come back for our dinner order. She brought the Buffalo Chicken(outstanding) and took the rest of our order. The food - all of it - came to the table promptly and at the same time. The Stuffed Scrod, Steak Tips, Burger and Steak and Cheese Sandwich were excellent. All were delicious and to the degree of doneness we asked for(medium was perfect, medium rare was even better)! At the end of the meal Tracy asked if we needed anything else and then brought the bill assuring us that there was no hurry. In summary, the food was the star of the night, but the service was the superstar!! We will go back!“
“The resort is in a great location and we enjoyed having a room with a view of the marina. Easy walkability to coffee shops and mom and pop stores. The resort is going through some remodeling but not bothered by it. The room was very clean. The only draw was the AC turning on, especially when sleeping, was loud. All in all, we would stay there again.“
“Came here every week with my family growing up as a kid and is always a go-to for catering platters but truthfully I realized it had been a few years since we had dined in. Decided upon End Zone last Saturday night and I was SO impressed. The clam chowder is the best in the area, consistently, tasted exactly how I remembered! I ordered the fish tacos and we all know how disappointing they can be if not done well, they have them down to a science they were truly delicious and I’d reorder any day. BF had the Portuguese steak tips, perfection. Thanks guys, we really enjoyed our meals and our server was clearly a veteran, totally experienced and professional. We will continue to recommend to everyone looking for some serious flavor!“
“Would have never even known this place existed, but we got a "seize the deal". Started with the chicken wing special. We are both very picky, and these wings were cooked to perfection. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. We got the cod dish to split. We could have split the half. Such garlicky goodness. We live in Portsmout and will go again. The picture I posted is half.“
“Great food and large quantities for relatively cheap. I personally think the pizza needs some work, but then again, I used to be a full-time pizza man. Everything else was awesome ? ? ? especially the onion ring basket and the steak tip dinner.“
“We recently had our firefighter's ball for the New Bedford Fire Department at the Vault. Across the board, it was an exceptional experience. The manager, Courtney, was masterful in helping us plan and coordinate our event, menu, decorations, and entertainment. During the event the food was great, the staff was excellent, and the location in the heart of downtown New Bedford was perfect with nearby parking garages and lots of good bars and restaurants for the end of the night within an easy walk. We will be looking forward to returning again next year!“
“Bayside is a restaurant/bar, or I should say a bar/restaurant. It's not a beautiful interior and no quiet romantic dining here. Many customers seem to be local regulars and I find it to be a friendly place. Every food item I have ordered has been fantastic. Their burgers are very good but their seafood is some of the freshest tasting that I have found in the New Bedford area. Most dishes are served with either fries or tater tots and they are great too.“
