There as a huge Sunday morning crowd but they had 7 workers lined up cranking out the orders so it went more quickly than it seemed it would. “I went in for the first time today after hearing great things and boy, I wasn’t disappointed! I had a breakfast sandwich on a croissant and as I was eating it I kept thinking, “this is the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had”. Then I tried the orange cranberry white chocolate scone and realized I’d found the best scone ever! The cranberries burst in your mouth and the dough wasn’t dry like many scones. This place is dangerously good.“

Good patio seating area to enjoy their wares. Only complaint was that there wasn’t more to try - was really counting on this place to have an abundance of baked fruit desserts, like small tarts, jam cookies, mini pies for a single serving - the large pies looked excellent but were more than a baked good tourist could manage at this stage in the game.“

I could barely taste the pistachio on our chicken and the citrus flavor was mild. The Sicilian cherry tart was wonderfully flavorful.....personally would love a little more than a curl of chocolate on the top. “I’m a hater and I hate to admit when places live up to the hype. But The Black Dog certainly surpasses its reputation.

I got the Spicy Woofer and the reason I have no picture to attach is because I practically swallowed it whole. I’m forever adding slightly cooked spinach to my breakfast sandwiches. The bacon was perfectly crispy (I love when the fat is cooked out). The clam chowder was also great. The chocolate chip cookie? Gorgeous. Spectacular. Perfection.“
