I love the 50/50. Every time my husband brings me to his hometown, we have to stop there. Not your normal egg place. The menu has surprising options such as homemade corn beef hash and eggs , stuffed French toast. I went for an omelette stuffed with chili and cheese. Back home we called that a stretch. This diner has good prices and free parking. The food was filling and there are vegetarian options. Staff are efficient and accurate.
I also like that this business is self-supporting. They did receive some private (Chamber of Commerce) assistance during the pandemic, but unlike many businesses in the city do not constantly have their hand out for government grants, loans, and other subsidies, maybe because one manager is a Libertarian.
Wow, we just moved to the area 3 months ago and every time we passed by, we saw a full car lot ,.that's usually a good sign my husband and I always say. We finally got around to going and gosh , zero disappoint and we are big foodies and judgemental with our food. This is your typical diner setting but the bonus here is delish food for good price and refreshing staff. When we left, we said" this is gonna be put regular spot" it's unbeatable!
