First time server was out of his element. Very nervous and slow. Needed additional training and supervision. Replacement server was helpful and on-the-ball.
Our server Sam was very helpful and kind. She answered all of our questions and gave several helpful insights for food choices. She was fast, efficient and kept an eye on our drinks and our kids needs. Food was very good, especially the pizzas, beer and calamari. We will be back!

BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse offers a diverse menu with various food options, including the BBQ chicken deep dish pizza, Nashville sauce boneless wings, and jambalaya. The full rack of baby back ribs are very good with delicious barbecue sauce, and the Wachusett blueberry beer is a favorite with fresh blueberries at the bottom. The ambience is fun and energetic, with a lively bar area, great tap selection, and numerous TVs.
The menu is huge and varied, and customers recommend making a reservation, especially on weekends. The service can be excellent, though some customers experience delays in seating and inconsistencies with orders. The appetizers, like the pretzel and wonton apps, are decent, and drinks such as the Titos Strawberry Lemonade and strawberry martini are enjoyed, though sometimes inconsistent.
While the food quality can vary, the overall experience keeps customers coming back. The Philly is delicious, and the shrimp tacos are a solid choice, though the shrimp scampi and Ahi Tuna salad have disappointed some. The nachos and fried calamari have also been served cold.
