But the best part was the food, from appetizers to dinner to 4 flavors of wedding cake! We received multiple compliments on the food being the best "wedding food" from our guests and we have to agree. They worked with us closely to make sure our day went without a hitch and made it a day to remember.“
“All the food is really good here. I have never had a bad meal. Portions are huge. Today I had the half pound hamburger on a fresh Italian roll, with fries. The burger had to be held with two hands, the fries are better than McDonalds. Best pizzas in the Framingham area. Meatball sub is delicious. Chicken Parm dinner is really good, you'll take half of it home. Steak and cheese sub is one of the best ones around.“

“My colleagues and I meet once/month at our company's office in Marlborough. We all look forward to this meeting for the sole purpose that we get to have Boro Burrito for lunch! It is so easy to order online, lots of options for toppings, sauces, etc. The food is DELICIOUS! My personal favorite is the cajun chicken. We sometimes have someone go to pick up our order, but last time we had it delivered, which is super convenient.“

“J & L catered a graduation party to feed about forty guests and, despite the less-than-desirable weather, they were incredibly professional and managed to stay out of the way in a small house when the party had to be moved mostly inside. The food was amazing, and John and all his staff were more like guests than hired staff due to their friendly and pleasant interactions. They cleaned everything including dishes and plates I had used that weren't their responsibility and left everything spotless. We're looking for an excuse to have another event so we can hire them again!“

Some of it still has that feel, but the owners have modernized over the years, so, instead of a tired diner, Mel’s is a comfortable restaurant with that old-time feel. The waitstaff is friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The food choices are diverse and interesting. We found our breakfast exactly as expected – eggs cooked as ordered, decent home fries, bread fresh. Mel’s salad offerings are surprising, and our choice, the Mandarin, was fresh and yummy.“
