“I'm an old guy who mostly gets his coffee (so I gave the food a neutral rating). What REALLY brings me back is my love of coffee, and the young, energetic and frankly, warm-hearted, welcoming and courteous staff there these young people put a smiling face on a job that's made of long hours and little thanks. But if you stop there frequently. They adopt you as though you were family. This may be a unique feature to the Maplewood Ave store, but there is some reason things there are so customer service and family oriented. And Mc Donald's out to identify and bottle it!

“We got lunch here on a busy Sunday afternoon. Food was pretty good - I enjoyed the fish & chips and onion rings. Others seemed to enjoy their burgers. There was limited and pretty cramped seating, but we lucked out and had seats out back where you could see the water if you swivled your head the right way (and the back of a house if you didn't). The service was pretty slow - I think we waited 20-30 minutes before the food was ready, which was a result of them being pretty busy. Overall it was decent but the experience would depend on the time of day you went.“

“I go to Woodman's for the best scallops and the haddock is sooo good, too. Clams are loose and juicy - whereas down the road they are tight and crispy - so there is preference and debate about that. I have loved Woodman's for years. Love the place - clam people should explain their preferences a bit more :).
It's a fried seafood place - so get fried seafood - split a platter rather than chowder and cake if you want a lighter meal :)“

“Really good value for your money. The portions are big the staff is friendly and the tables with the umbrellas are nice. My lamb gyro was packed with meat and toppings. The fries are really good as well. I'd definitely eat here again the next time I'm in Gloucester. The area the restaurant is in is really nice. I definitely recomend going.“
