My husband, Michael and I sat at George's Bar tonight and were thoroughly impressed. This was our first time and won't be our last! The moment we walked into the cozy restaurant, we were warmly greeted by a staff member. I saw her seating people, running food and filling water glasses so I'm not sure if she was related to George but I do know she was a team player. Then the bartender, Kaylee (not sure if I am spelling it correctly) was also super friendly and efficient...
My husband and I sat at the bar last night, and Kaylee waited on us. She was so nice. She made an excellent pear martini for my husband and a margarita for me. We started with the arancini balls appetizer, which were hearty and delicious. Then we shared the steak tips dinner that came with mashed potatoes and a medley of fresh vegetables, but we substituted the potatoes for onion rings. All were very yummy! Then, for dessert, my husband had the apple pie with vanilla ice cream...
Went to George’s for brunch on a Saturday morning. It was a short wait (less than 30 min) and well worth it. The food was unbelievable and the service was great. They had a very large menu with lots to choose from. I had the Strawberry Nutella French Toast, and it was some of the best French toast I’ve ever had! Highly recommend if you are in the area.
