“Hands down the best pizza we’ve had since we left the NYC metro area more than a decade ago. Authentic New York style thin crust pizza. The pepperoni pizza is our favorite, and the veggie pizza is great, too. AND, he has great Indian food, too. Buy a pie and he’ll give you a sample of the Indian food. He’s a really nice man. Don’t let the exterior put you off. This is a real hidden gem.”
“Always impressed by this coffee shop! Good selection of coffees, pastries, donuts and sandwiches! I typically make coffee at home but when we want a treat or on the weekend for a date with my daughter, we love it there! They always have cute decorations inside but if you're opting for the drive through they are so fast! Everyone there is super kind, making it a great experience all around.”
“Ordered takeout for Valentines Day, hubby likes beef curry(it's a bit ? here). The rice was good, chicken fingers, boneless ribs. Rice was OK, not burnt, no aftertaste, not stale we have had that at other places, so overall good. That being said, we have ordered here on New Years a couple of times, and I would not order from them on New Years, but if you do, don't expect the same quality of food. The price is a bit high. Good food for takeout overall, better than we have had in a while.”
“Delicious food & friendly staff!Their brick oven pizza is the best around!Their calzones are delicious & the ricotta in them makes riversides calzones different from the rest!I was lucky to score some churros on a random give away day & I really hope they add them to the menu! Bite size churros smothered in cinnamon & sugar- yum!!!”
“Came back after a long absence. Now under new management. Food is good, service great. Will visit again to see if I can bump it up to 5 stars. Nice local hangout though.”
“Be sure to visit Drop Cafe! Excellent coffee and many choices to enjoy! Very comfortable place to relax enjoy some coffee and food. The owners and staff are friendly and some nice breakfast food too.”
“Fantastic new Lao/Thai restaurant with quirky atmosphere and, sometimes, live music. They do need to work on making the service more consistent, *but* they're also the friendliest restaurateurs you will ever meet, with the proprietor/chef sometimes coming out to narrate your dishes. Delicious food.”
“Delicious! Contrary to the North Shore tradition to get James River BBQ sauce on roast beef, I like mine with cheese and mayo only. This means the beef itself has to be well seasoned without relying on the sauce and Bella's does not disappoint! My husband and I drove from another part of the state to eat here because it's so highly rated on the North Shore Beefs page. We now detour on the way to visit a relative so we can get roast beef!Pro tip: don't attempt to eat The Professor in one sitting, that thing is a monster”
“Great owners, friendly staff, huge portions, Michelle makes a mean cocktail, and the food is always amazing and consistent. We eat here a lot and have never had a meal that was less than outstanding!”
“This pizza student's pizza is so fun once you try it, you want to eat it again and again. Their restaurant is very clean. They serve good things at very low prices.”
“Fantastic atmosphere, amazing beer! Oak & Iron has crafted a cozy setting that embodies the allure of German beer gardens, ensuring that you have an absolutely delightful experience. You'll feel like family after visiting Oak & Iron and be itching to return.”
“Had a great experience, sitting at the bar with the excellent service and delicious food. Salads were fresh and crispy and inventive. Seafood was cooked perfectly.”
“The food is excellent every time and gets out super fast even when it’s busy. The staff and owner are very friendly, and the seating is comfortable whether you’re with a group or on your own. Great food for the price.”
“Mamajuana's is a vibe! The food was amazing, as were the drinks. Perfect spot to celebrate birthdays, and they have a deejay and a fully stocked bar. It's a Latin Caribbean fusion menu.”
“Their brie appetizer is amazing, and it's consistently on the menu, which is important: I hate making plans to go to a restaurant because I love something they have only to find they're not offering it that day.”
“Here's a little Valley gem! Great product! Gelato with some pastries on the side. Everything is so yummy: You can't go wrong no matter what you get. (Pro tip: Try that tiramisu!! Whoa!)If you've never had gelato, think ice cream but richer, thicker, and more intensly flavored. At least to my taste.I took a star off because it's kind of a small place, seems dimly lit, and it just takes a while to scoop ice cream, you know? Taking the star off almost doesn't seem fair. Just be patient (I know, right?) - you will be rewarded.Parking: Plenty of parking with Piro's Bakery right next door.Kid-friendliness: Make sure you bring the kids - they love ice cream and this is an easy win for you. Bonus: This won't break the bank.”
“Ordered a large with mushroom and onion last night for takeout. Easily one of the two best pizza places in North Andover/Andover. Nice, properly browned/cooked undercarriage. Huge points just for that, as so many places don’t cook it enough to have any real crisp, even sometimes when you ask for it well done (didn’t even ask for well done on this one, turns out no need to here). Great sauce. Nice thin crust. Good amount of cheese but not too much. Just perfect. It’s now a toss up between this place and Amici’s for best pizza in the area.”
“Great place for a coffee and good chat with friends. Very nice atmosphere, friendly and professional staff. Good quality coffee and the homemade pastries are delicious. Definitely coming backParking: Paid a dollar for 1 hour at the street”
“I just had a shower catered by this shop. Jenny & her crew were amazing in every way!! Fresh & fabulous food and amazing family to work with!! Highly recommend you will not be disappointed! The guests were raving about the food!!”
“North Andovers got a bagel shop with multiple cream cheeses. Had the lox sandwich on a toasted everything with red onions, capers and fresh lox today and a cinnamin sugar bagel to go.”
“I can’t recommend this bakery highly enough! They make absolutely beautiful and delicious cakes for special occasions. I ordered a dino themed cake and a mermaid cake for my daughter’s past two birthdays and everyone was so impressed! So much detail was put into the decorations.”
“Small space but great location with a view. Very friendly service. Really tasty drinks. Empanadas were tasty but filling a bit salty. Butternut squash soup was delicious. Chicken & broccoli with pesto was a large serving & tasty. Chicken Milanese wasn't crispy & the sauce made it soggy. I'd definitely go back to try other menu options.”
“Five stars. I really enjoyed this place. First of all clean. I like the local pictures. The halloween decorations nicely done.I ordered French toast stuffed with raspberry jam and cream cheese. It's four slices. With butter, powder sugar, and cinnamon. Had to have it with New Hampshire syrup and oj. You'll hope it tastes as good as it sounds well it does. Also had blueberry muffin. It is moist fresh and flavorful. It has blueberrys threw out not just in cap. She ask if I wanted it warmed up with butter. After the French toast I decided to take it to go. They gave me butter and silverware with it. Couldn't ask for better service. I recommendation this place hole heartedly. You will enjoy you meal.”
“When you walk in, you're greeted by friendly faces & the heavenly smell of cookies. I love that the menu changes every week. There's always something that I love or want to try!!”
“Such amazing ice cream and an amazing staff!! Mad Maggie's is always the place I love to go for ice cream!! The staff is always so kind and friendly and makes going there amazing every time!! With a severe tree nut allergy, the shop can easily accommodate with safety measures that makes me feel safe in going there every single time!!”
“Dog Friendly inside, very unique and interesting beers. The staff is super friendly and helpful letting you try any of their beers. The atmosphere is casual and open for groups.”
“First time here and it did not disappoint at all! I got the Vietnamese iced mocha coffee with whipped cream and mocha drizzle. I also got the egg and cheese croissant with chicken sausage. The presentation was fantastic but taste was even better. Regardless of me being the only customer on site at the time, the service was excellent and extremely fast. I was in and out in less than 2 minutes with the food and drink. I would definitely go back and try all the other flavors for coffee and pastry!”
“I love supporting family businesses! The restaurant is very pretty inside and the food was delicious. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful checking in and making suggestions. And the location in downtown Andover is perfect!Parking: There is street parking right out front or a lot down the street.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly”
“This is my newest favorite bakery on the Seacoast! My husband wanted a latte and pastry on the drive up RT-95 and Annarosa's popped up on Yelp. What a surprise treat for the senses! There were a bountiful variety of vennoiserie from a simple croissant to fruit and custard filled puff pastries. And last but not the least, the breads!!! There are baguettes, olive breads, pain de compagne, and more! The closest comparison of this bakery would be Clear Flour Bakery in Brookline but only bigger. The owners are welcoming and take interest in their customers. There is no seating inside the bakery ample outdoor seating in the warmer weather. And for a limited time, they have fresh baked hot cross buns, so delicious.”
“The mini peanut butter wizard is the perfect size. The atmosphere of this place is just adorable and very old timey and I love it. I Ate half my ice cream when I was there so I wouldn’t make a mess of my car. It was so good….seriously amazing stuff.”
