I had the honor of photographing a wedding at the Wequassett and would 10/10 recommend. Everything from the staff to the food to the venues scenery was top notch.
My husband grew up going to the Wequassett as a kid. He talked it up so much that I was thinking it might not to live up to the hype - but it absolutely did. The resort is absolutely beautiful. It's so well landscaped, very clean and incredibly picturesque. The guest room we stayed it was lovely. The staff were so friendly and treated my family and I so well. Everything felt luxurious. The staff is known for being super helpful, and the setting of the resort is amazing, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy music events during the summer. Recent visitors praised the amazing pastries and coffee, as well as the perfectly executed meal at Supper on the Bay, served by stellar wait staff. The Derby party at the Outer Bar and Grill was also a hit, with southern appetizers and a fun atmosphere. Despite arriving late due to an accident, guests received warm welcomes, delicious cherry/Bourbon cocktails, and enjoyed sumptuous appetizers, excellent service, and a lovely ambience.
