“If you’re looking for the perfect place to celebrate a birthday, throw axes, eat great food, drink excellent cocktails, and accidentally discover your sister is apparently the most popular girl in Haverhill… look no further than Wicked Axe. My sister’s surprise birthday party was awesome.The food was genuinely great, not the usual “event food” where you politely chew and pretend to enjoy a dry chicken skewer. The drinks were awesome, the axe throwing was a blast, and the live band had the whole place buzzing. The venue itself is huge, fun, and perfectly set up for groups. But honestly, what made the night stand out was the staff. With that many people, something usually goes sideways. Nope. The team handled everything like pros. They were friendly, organized, and upbeat. Wicked Axe absolutely nailed it from start to finish. Great entertainment venue, great atmosphere, and a perfect spot for parties, events, or just releasing a little stress by hurling axes at wood like a civilized adult. Highly recommend. “It was a very pleasant and comfortable visit. The waitress was great and all the rest of the staff was very helpful and friendly. We were a big group and we felt welcome from the beginning, they already had our table.put together when we arrived. The food was amazing, very good portions. The atmosphere was relaxing. We will be sure to return, with advanced notice of course. Go check it out, worth the trip. If going in a large group I would recommend calling ahead. They were very accommodating. 😋“

“Great hidden spot to eat. We went with a friend and it was a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Our waitress was awesome, she suggested the cauliflower pizza, at first I was skeptical, but she highly recommended it. I'm not gluten-free and loved it. It was more like a thin crust pizza and I would get it again for sure. My husband had a chicken wrap with sweet potato fries, which the wrap was good, fries were great. Our friend had steak tips with mashed potatoes and broccoli, she enjoyed it and the portion size was generous where she had leftovers. Our waitress didn't rush us ans told us we could wait out the severe thunderstorm happening even after our bill was paid. Great place with exceptional service!“

“We just experienced our 3 visit today. I took my mom and fiancé Krista For their prime rib special, as always, absolutely delicious. The food and drinks are amazing. And the service is excellent we had the owner Brenna as our waitress she is an absolute sweetheart super friendly and the bartender Greg was on point with the drinks. And the atmosphere is always great. We will definitely be back again soon. Raerocks definitely rocks“

“Stopped in last night with a large group of family and friends after attending a wake. It was getting late and we were all hungry and tired, so everyone was looking forward to sitting down, having a good meal, and unwinding with a cocktail.

Our server was wonderful, the food came out quickly, and the portions were generous enough that many of us brought home leftovers for another meal. There was also acoustic music playing, which added a really nice touch—it was enjoyable without being too loud, and we could still easily hear each other across the table.

Overall, it was a comfortable and welcoming place to spend the evening without feeling rushed or like we were inconveniencing anyone. Five stars for sure!“

“I was hopeful that this place would be fun because the reviews seemed good. Our server was great. Super friendly. We were sat right away. BUT, we went there based on the band description and the reviews on the "night life". What a disappointment!! We honestly didn't even bother to wait for the band to start playing because the room was filled with geriatrics!!!! Not 1 person even close to our age. And the bathroom was disgusting!!! That says a LOT about the owners. They seemed nice but were too busy chatting it up to address the bathroom issues. I might give it 1 more try next summer when we can hang out outside. Not a great night life kind of place for younger people but the food was good. It's an in and out kind of place IMO. I was looking for someplace FUN to hang out for a while after dinner! This just wasn't it.“

“Tonight is my husbands birthday and this being his favorite restaurant it was a no brainer to come. He has just had a pretty major surgery which affects how he eats quite a bit and I just have to say Melissa and Dave (he was training I’m sorry if I got the wrong name) were absolutely AMAZING. They made the whole night so enjoyable even though my husband struggled through eating. They were also amazing with our two kids! I have never been a huge fan of the TGIF menu but even the food was wonderful tonight. Even if it was awful, I’d come back for these two amazing servers ANY day. Thank you is not enough to express how grateful we are for the wonderful service tonight 💕“
