We came for lunch, and were surprised to find it so quiet, given all the great reviews we had read. The homemade, fresh food, the hot tea, and the family members who brought food to us were all very heartwarming. Easy to get to off 495 or 125. I hope more people find this wonderful place!

Tawa Tandoor is a restaurant that offers a delightful dining experience, both in terms of food and service. Despite its simple exterior and interior, described as reminiscent of a 1970s dinette, it provides a memorable meal at affordable prices. The chicken Tikka Masala and Tandoori Chicken are standout dishes, with the Tandoori Chicken being particularly praised for its tenderness and flavor. Customers appreciate the friendly staff, who are hard-working, and clean bathrooms, making it a place they plan to visit regularly. The menu includes popular dishes like Butter Chicken, Momos, Tadka Daal, veggie samosas, garlic naan, chicken biryani rice, and Himalayan chicken chili, all prepared fresh and served hot. Many enjoy the variety of options available, including vegan selections. Guests also enjoy relaxing with a hot, savory cup of masala and pepper tea, especially in winter. The restaurant is praised for its flavorful food and excellent service, particularly the chicken dishes, making it a favorite for those wanting a tasty, satisfying meal.
