Have heard good things about Harvest Grille. We went on a Friday night on a whim. Did not have reservations and had no problem getting 2 seats at the bar. There was a piano player in the lounge and it was very pleasant. The bartender was quite busy but didn't seem to have any problems keeping up. We ordered steak tips and baked haddock to share. Both were very tasty. Food came out in a timely manner.
I have been coming here on and off for years and the food has always been very good. There are a lot of restaurants in Holden now and I frequent them also, but often they are noisy and crowded and sometimes the food isn't as good as Harvest Grille. I love the booth atmosphere in the dining room... great for catching up with friends because you are not on top of other people. I don't know why we didn't go here sooner. Charming place, food was great, our server (Jen) was awesome... Very attentive as was the hostess. Food was excellent... Highly recommend the beet salad. I never get dessert, but I got the key lime pie and it was awesome. My wife would recommend an update to the furniture/decor to harness the old American pub/tavern, the booths are thin. Really enjoyed our dinner. Oh, the live music was great!
