The haddock with lobster newburg sauce was very disappointing too. The newburg sauce was not great. Plenty of lobster on both the bisque and in the haddock. Did not have the ritz crumbs.“

“The food was outstanding and they don’t skimp on the portions. I got the yellow tail tuna and was expecting 4 or 5 slices. Triple that! On a bed of perfectly cooked rice and mixed vegetables. We were a party of 4 and the other 3 all had the same great experience. If you love seafood, this place is a must visit.“

“Thanks to Live To Eat Food for the reminder to visit Nuovo Restaurant in Worcester. I hadn’t been back since around the time they opened—10+ years ago—& let me say, they did not disappoint. We arrived around 6 PM, & the place was buzzing with at least three Christmas parties going on, so we grabbed seats at the bar. We started with some excellent martinis, then moved on to appetizers (after the bread, of course). We had the fig–mascarpone stuffed phyllo dough & the best chicken lemon orzo soup—truly unmatched anywhere else in the city. For entrées, he had the lobster pappardelle special, & I went with pasta in vodka sauce with meatballs. We were completely stuffed but still couldn’t resist ordering the blueberry-crumble cheesecake to go. Despite how busy they were, the service was great, & everything we had was spot-on.“

“This was our second visit to Via. We love the atmosphere, and the food is good. A few things to note:

On our Saturday night visit they did not have valet parking offered, which was no issue for us since we had a very early reservation, but parking can be difficult.

The meatballs are the best meatballs I have had, however the rigatoni was overcooked. 😞 sadness. The marscapone cheesecake was a 10. The bread service was equally a 10.

It appears that they may use a two waitstaff system which is something that I never understood. Unless one of them was in training? It didn't help our experience, but I will say Connor was the more personable and attentive half and fit the persona of Via best. We enjoyed his unrushed style best.

I love the open kitchen view so if you like that experience ask for a table with a view of the bustling kitchen.

On your way to the restroom you get a nice view of the Gelato case, which is a bit odd, but I am sure they have given that some thought.

“Whe had our 34th wedding anniversary at the Worcester, MA location. We love Ruth's Chris and have visited several times at several locations. It never disappoints. We will continue to visit various locations for our special days each year. A special thank you to Anye for being a fantastic server. He only added to our wonderful night. My wife had a summer classic with filet and garlic mashed. I had a TBone with baked and asparagus. The aroma of the arriving meal makes the meal extra special. Thank you to the entire staff who decorated or table and left us a personal card. This will not be our last visit.“

We feel that this a basic menu item and will now look for other places to get them. If needed raise prices on a popular item like the 'club' sandwich, but should be left on the menu.“

“I recently visited family in Massachusetts and met with friends at Barber's Crossing in Sterling. I am 73 years old and have eaten out in many places. Over the last couple of years anyone that you speak with will tell you that the prices have gone UP, and the quality and Portion sizes have gone DOWN. THAT WAS NOT TRUE AT BARBER'S CROSSING DURING MY VISIT. I had to call my daughter and tell her what a wonderful meal I had. Every bite was just as flavorful and tasteful as the first. Even the mashed potatoes tasted fresh and homemade. Whenever I return to Mass for a visit. I will be sure to stop and eat there again. It was the best meal that I have had at a restaurant in years! The waitress was very friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was quite pleasant. But the food was exceptional. Keep up the great work in the kitchen.“

“Visited Sonoma for the All day brunch. The food was excellent. Bacon and sausages were delicious with perfect eggs. The creamy grits with huge prawns were also outstanding.
Chef Derek visited our table and our server Tim was friendly and attentive. They both made us feel specially welcoming. The restaurant is beautiful and the amazing water fountain outside adds a lovely atmosphere. I highly recommend Sonoma restaurant for a special brunch.
