“Been going to Kay,s for many years , have never gotten a bad meal. As I live 2-4minaway, I always get take out. We love Fried whole clams, the dinners are way too much for us to eat at our age. We always get the clam roll. It has always been perfect thank you Kay,s for being so close to me and I can get my clams in a matter of minutes!“

“I have been coming to The Old Mill since I was a child, over 50 years. I have held a rehearsal dinner for my son’s wedding there a few years ago- which was excellent. Our most recent was yesterday and it was generally very good, though I have noticed a couple of issues in recent visits. The atmosphere is unbeatable and the food is very good. However, on two separate occasions we have ordered items from the menu only to have the waitress come back and tell us they were out of the item. First, the waitress should apprise you of any unavailable items prior to ordering. Second, why is this becoming a trend? On one occasion it was duck that was unavailable- they had “just sold the last one”. Really, this is a signature menu item which we came specifically for that particular day (drove 1 1/2 hours)- very disappointing. On our most recent visit my husband was informed the mud pie was unavailable after placing an order for it. He then decided to skip dessert. We also heard the waitress tell the party behind us that she thought they were out of lemonade- no excuse for that! Also, though our waitress was generally good, we asked for more rolls and she said “sure” but never brought them. Yes we could have asked again but at that point we were too far along in the meal- again, disappointing. Maybe wait staff should go back to writing things down like they did in the old days so they don’t forget. In general, we still had a good experience and I would recommend. However, I would also recommend remedying your supply issues and, maybe bring back an orange sauce option with the duck?“

“I just went there this morning and purchased a pancake and sausage and the food is really delicious, I'm new to the area I was looking for a place that has good breakfast I'm glad I found it.“

“Hard to believe but this sea food restaurant has the best hamburgers. Had a rare burger and so well cooked that the juice runs down your hands. My kind of burger.“

“My family of 4 came in tonight & I am so happy with our experience. We’ve been many times before and always enjoy it, but tonight was honestly the best dining experience we’ve had there. We had Lori C. as our server - and I really hope that she’s a long time server there. She was so incredibly friendly, helpful and eased every anxiety I had about gluten free options. I’m very newly gluten free and it’s a STRUGGLE! She assumed me the floured chicken was almond flour and the gluten free pasta & even the gluten free garlic bread. She was so accommodating to my blind fiancée as well. Thank you so much for such a great dinner.“

Came on a whim and was super happy to have a bowl of ramen on a rainy day. Clean and calm environment, no blinding lights and the staff were attentive.

“The bread was great and having Down East of tap is always a plus, but.... the food was sub-par at best. Mashed potatoes tasted old and were overseasoned with so much pepper that that's all you could taste. The meatloaf was dry, spongy and tasted horrible The gravy that accompanied the meatloaf was gelled and looked like separated jello. To top off a horrible meal, my apple crisp was served ice cold. would not recommend:(“

“Great and fresh food. The food took a little big long but was worth it because it was fresh. I got the beef kabob with rice and my bf got the chicken and fries. The kabob and rice was authentic and sauce and veggies was refreshing. The chicken and fries were crispy! Will come back!“
