There are not enough words to express how lovely the woman at the counter and her husband are! They are so accommodating, and sweet. “Decent vegan menu Very nice worker peeps! Owner is mostly vegan and he came out and talked to me for a bit and is very nice. I got the vegan mac attack pizza 🍕.....very tasty and different. I want to go back and try some other menu items. If youre in the area, I would give it a shot. There is also a nice zoo and a cool drive in around the area if youre looking for a day trip.“

“I ordered 2 stuffed shells, 1 with eggplant and 1 with chicken and an order of potato skins. The skins were great. Better than a couple restaurants that I tried in the area. The stuffed shells were also delicious although I didn't get chicken, I got meatballs instead of what I ordered, but that doesn't matter, it was really good! Definitely a place worth ordering from!“

“Moved to Bellingham 2 years ago. I have tried all the pizza places in town and can say that Blackhawk pizza is the best one. In addition to pizza I have tried many different subs, calzones, salads and dinners and have been very happy with them all. Our go to order is half meatball/cheese pizza with the steak tip salad. There’s a new snack item on the menu, a cheese pie. Literally so good, if you like ricotta I highly recommend trying it!

If you have children going to Ashland Public Schools (and beyond!), the new owner has also dedicated half of his restaurant to provide a teen space for after school and on the weekends! There’s a prohibition-style mocktail bar, a large projection screen for kids to play the Nintendo switch or watch movies, and lots and lots of games! I highly recommend making Nick’s your next family fun spot!“

I can wholeheartedly recommend the fried haddock with extra crispy fries or the grilled steak and chicken combo with crispy fries plus a side of their tasty rice! Prices can be a little more than pre-covid days but honestly, for the quality of the food and the speed of service I have no problem paying a little more, besides, we get to support a local business and that I believe is important during these trying times! “The staff are always friendly food is made quick. Prices are ok for the area. I have had some good food there but I've also had a couple subs with barely anything in them. Very hit or miss. The steak and cheese and chicken cutley barely have anything in them. I'm right here all the time but I definitely would go more often if the half empty subs didn't feel like such a rip off. Otherwise the food it pretty good.“

I asked why pick up times are always higher on the weekends. I did nit realize it but there oven only holds 15 to 20 items at a time. On Fridays they start getting orders for 5 pm at 10 am so 5 to 530 is full up before 3pm and that is why you have to order early on tge weekends.“

No one makes canzone like they do! Pizza is excellent ? and I get a chicken salad salad here too and the chicken salad is perfectly shredded down and taste like heaven!“
