“The entire place smells delicious. I got a dish with potatoes, curried peas, fried green plantains mashed, rice with goat meat, and curried goat meat.
The entire experience was wonderful, and the staff was always happy to talk or give the recommendations.

“We don’t know where to begin to thank Peppers Artful Events for all the work they put into our wedding, and how over-the-moon we were with their care and detail. My husband and I were married at the New England Botanic Garden in May 2025. We had a very specific vision of the day, and after meeting with Peppers, we quickly realized that they were far more than a catering team. Their team provided us artful advice on how to make our vision come to life. We wanted very creative, feast-like and "painterly" tables capes that were inspired by art, and they were so hands-on with setting up our vision (which included a lot of edible decor!). The FOOD, oh my gosh I will never stop thinking of it. Our first tasting included a tour of their hydroponic garden where they showed us all of the veggies that would be grown to feed our guests. We were floored. They helped us curate a menu that honored both of our cultural traditions, Italian and Spanish. Their menu featured artfully-presented entrees, appetizers, a memorable collection of signature cocktails, and a guest-interactive cannoli bar. Our guests have not stopped talking about how fantastic the service and food was. If we could get married a million times over, we’d pick the Peppers team each time. “Tastings really helped make our wedding reception a success! They were very organized and quick in flipping our ceremony space for the reception. But the best part was the food, from appetizers to dinner to 4 flavors of wedding cake! We received multiple compliments on the food being the best "wedding food" from our guests and we have to agree. They worked with us closely to make sure our day went without a hitch and made it a day to remember.“

Catering in covid times is never easy, and trying to meld Italian food with Jamaican food is never easy, and combining those elements made our search for a caterer really difficult, but Chef John and his team fit the bill perfectly. “Wanted to take a moment to share some images of a stunning handcrafted book created by Laura Michele Stevens, AKAThe (talented and lovely) Moonlight Chef. We commissioned this to celebrate the birth of a friend’s baby girl— and couldn’t be happier. Laura turned this around in record time, which is pretty astonishing because, as you can see, the amount of handwork here is staggering. There are so many details to be appreciated here: lace trims, appliqué flowers, charms, paper insertions and bookmarks, even a handwritten note congratulating the parents on the birth of their baby girl, a very thoughtful addition. The cover features a clipped door that opens to reveal a card with the child’s name and details regarding her birth. Laura very clearly spent a lot of time creating this special, one-of-a-kind gift, and it shows. It’s entirely made by hand and every bit of paper, trim, and decorative element was considered. Highly recommend reaching out as I firmly believe her work is beautiful and so unique. As someone who appreciates and celebrates all things handmade, I am grateful for Laura’s talents. “The food here is always good. My boyfriend took me here this morning for my birthday. I typically get something on the specials board and he usually gets "mom's special". I love that they are always consistent, I have never been disappointed ? staff is always friendly and there's plenty of off street parking. We always say to each other "mom's is better than dad's". I would say they do need to update their menus since they are a bit worn and they've made price adjustments that I noticed are penned in. There is A LOT to choose from which is nice to have options but I do feel slightly overwhelmed cuz I never know what to choose ?

“The meal deal with the piezooki was good. I had the chicken Parm with spaghetti. Even though the chicken was nice and warm the spaghetti lacked flavor. But don't get me wrong I loved the chicken Parm. I loved the strawberry shortcake piezooki that came highly recommended by our server Cole. And he didn't stear us wrong it's now my favorite. Cole our waiter was warm and friendly and even though the restaurant was very busy he always took the time to stop at our table to see how we were doing.

“Hands down best Valentine's dinner my girlfriend and I have ever had! Lee is an unbelievable Chief. Sat down to a 5 course meal, unbelievable service, everyone was super friendly and inviting. We appreciated the great conversations and lovely pictures taken by Christine Strickland. We started off with delicious soup, followed up by an amazing fresh fruit and spinach salad. Main course surf and turf. I'm a huge steak fan and I can say one of the best I've had in a long time. Extremely tender and flavorful. Following the meal was a delicious cheese and fruit board of a delightful selection. Lastly ended off the night with a delicious chocolate cake. Food was cooked to perfection. Will absolutely be fact in the future. Highly recommend, anyone looking for an intimate and memorable dining experience Chef's Kitchen on Main is the place!“
