“Man, Pho Thai absolutely blew me away. From the second I walked in, I could smell that deep, spiced broth doing its thing, clove, star anise, all the good stuff that separates real pho from the weak imitators. I ordered the steak pho, and right away it was clear this place takes the craft seriously. The broth wasn’t just hot water with flavoring; it was alive, layered, rich, and clearly the result of someone who’s been perfecting this recipe for years. The steak was thin and tender, and it cooked perfectly right there in the bowl.

Here’s where things got wild: the fresh chili pepper on the table. I added about a half teaspoon, and it changed the whole dish. It opened up the flavor like flipping a switch, sweet, spicy, aromatic, every bite after that hit differently. It was one of those meals where you slow down just to make it last longer.

We also had the pineapple fried rice, and it was killer. You could tell the pineapple was fresh, not the canned stuff. Juicy, bright, and cut right before cooking. The rice was perfectly cooked, not greasy, and the chicken had that little snap that says “this was cooked right.”

Pho Thai feels both authentic and fresh, no shortcuts, no gimmicks, just great food made with care. The staff was super friendly, and the place has a relaxed, comfortable vibe.

“Had Pad Thai, fresh shrimp rolls, crispy veggie rolls, and crispy chicken broccoli dish. All were great! One small complaint - the crispy chicken was overfilled with chicken, but that meant fewer veggies than we wanted.

But 5 stars alone for what they did - We ordered takeout online around 3:30. Google reviews said they were open. The website tells me, after the order is completed, that it will take 75 minutes. I call them because that seems far too long – they say that they are actually closed between lunch and dinner and so could we pick it up at 4:45. Since I was visiting my mother, we didn’t want to wait that long, so I asked if we could cancel the order. The woman on the phone says to hold on, then has a quick conversation in Thai while I wait. She said they can make it then and asked if we can we come in 15 minutes. I said thank you very much and really appreciated it!

My Mom and I drive over, I go up to the door and the woman opens it and hands me my order. I give her a $10 cash tip to thank her, and I also show her that Google has their place as open, so she might want to contact Google to update the hours. She was very sweet and we really appreciated what they did.“
