“Came in on a Tuesday night after driving by this place constantly (we live close by) and always wanting to try. I think the only downside working against this place is the location. Unless you are a local I am not sure you’d stumble upon it as it’s hidden on a odd side street off route 16. And that is a SHAME because this place is really good!!! First of all the ambience and decor is so cozy and represents Peru really nicely but not in a fake overstated way. Our server was a young guy who was really nice and once he heard my husband and I speaking Spanish proceeded to serve us in Spanish the rest of the dinner which really felt very welcoming, he had a great vibe and gave us recommendations on the menu since it was our first time.They have SEVERAL Peruvian beers which was really cool, my husband tried a quinoa beer that he liked a lot.We got the ceviche del día which has a mix of seafood. So flavorful and amazing, as Peruvian ceviche always is.We got a specials menu sandwich with chicharrón, sweet potato, pickled onion, and mint that was so freaking delicious. The bread was insanely good, and the chicharrón was soooo crispy on the outside yet not impossible to chew as it sometimes can be if not done right.We also got the ahí de gallina which was very flavorful, I think it was my least favorite because it’s sort of a simple dish and I like things with lots of different elements and textures, but I wanted to try this Peruvian classic and I don’t regret it!Parking: You can park outside of the restaurant where there are signs that say Tambo 22 parking. That's what eating this sandwich was like. It has a pesto ranch dressing and pickles that taste better than any pickles one might reasonably expect to exist in the known universe-- and I don't even particularly like pickles. Seriously, this sandwich will make you throb with ecstasy. Also, anyone who thinks vegan cheese can't be good hasn't tried its pesto pizza. I would also be remiss if I didn't mention the friendly service.“

“Food here was delightful! My first time trying dosa and paani puri was so exciting, glad I came with a friend who taught me how to eat paani puri otherwise I would have eaten it all wrong. Paani puri has a crispy outer shell and it's filled with potato, onions, and crispies (not exactly sure what they're made of). You pour some of the liquid into the shells, and place the whole ball into your mouth. The whole bite with the mint water was so refreshing and an explosion of flavors! I came back a couple days later to enjoy paani puri again :) highly recommend!“

“The food, the service & the ambiance are excellent. I got a breakfast burrito with a side of avacado. So fresh and delicious. I could only eat half because the burrito was so big. I added sausage to it for an extra dollar or so. I believe this is a family business and they take great pride in quality, quantity, cleanliness & great service. “I would recommend it because the food is good but when I ordered they said a half hour I had to sit outside and wait though. when I got there I had to wait outside almost a half hour because they only let one person in the building at a time. I got there about 45 minutes after ordering they told me five or 10 more minutes it took an additional almost 20 minutes. I sat outside in the freezing cold. I did not receive an apology or anything. This is the first time I have not tipped since Covid began.“

We have ate a lot of pho in our day and this spot ranks in the top 10 pho spots we have eaten at. 10/10 recommend getting the Nguyen special pho and the oxtail pho. There were about 4 tables plus us at the bar and one server she took care of every single table with efficiency and a smile. She was very kind and welcoming. We will be coming back!“
