“I am the experience creator for our company in Illinois and our client was had their conference in Boston last week 10/6-10/08. I researched Vintage Restaurant as an option for the group's welcome party. After doing a sight tour and meeting the owner David, we were convinced that Vintage was the place for their event and they did not disappoint! This was a full buyout event with a mixology class activation for the group.
Leading up to the event, David and Laura were very helpful, very patient and very accommodating. The group had very specific requirements for food. Whether it was gluten free, dairy free, vegan, vegetarian, the Vintage team was able to accommodate all of the needs. David worked very closely with their executive chef to make sure all dietary restrictions were met.
On the day of the event, David and the team exceeded our expectations with the service, the taste of the food and the fun we had during the mixology class! What a wonderful experience this was for our clients.

“Besides the fact that it's an incredible venue for music with a really cool vibe, I had a grain bowl this evening with Farrow, shrimp, kale, toasted chick peas, cucumber, green apples and a delightfuly tangy lemon dressing! For some reason my taste buds detected cheddar cheese... but low and behold it was a dairy free dish! I don't know how you did it you crafty chefs, but my taste buds were devilishly and happily fooled! Since becoming vegan, I miss the taste of cheese! Especially cheddar! Also, The young waitress was very sweet and good at her job.“

“Fabulous evening. I made my reservation a month ago and was surprised when we were seated in a faraway corner on the lower level. We asked to move upstairs and the host gladly accommodated us. Our server was attentive and friendly and made great recommendations. Calamari was a little salty, but everything else was perfect! This is always my favorite pre-ballet spot. A nice espresso martini is just right to stay awake for the rest of the evening!“

“This was my Daughter's birthday weekend and we wanted to Take her to one of the places that Guy Fieri Visited for DDD...making memories. What we got was so much more. Truthfully the Best dining experience we have EVER experienced. The hostess was super friendly and immediately made accommodations due to the fact that I am currently in a wheelchair. The atmosphere was astonishing!!! The food...we truly cannot say enough good things about an are planning when to take the trip from Vermont again to get more. We were blown away . However the highlight of our evening hands down was our Server Kevin!!! He made my Daughter's night ...focused on making her smile and gave her a piece of cheesecake to celebrate. We will remember this forever and simply cannot thank you enough“

The atmosphere was welcoming, the music choices were spot on and I cannot emphasize my appreciation for the staff. Our server Nicholas (also a bartender) made our time at brick and mortar so special and was extremely attentive. In my humble opinion he not only deserves the world but also recognition (don’t know how much he is being paid but double it and everyone should tip him please) for his ability to make the night special and fun. “Goated. Best dive bar in the boston area by far. They sometimes require passports but can't complain when you are near BU campus.

Best when you get there early and can secure a dart board or booth and just rip pitchers all night.“

“We arrived late to Boston and needed a place to grab a bite. Their kitchen was still open so we ordered some food and drinks. The food and drinks were delish. The atmosphere was fairly lively. It’s a small footprint so having a few groups of people in there made the atmosphere pretty loud. Not a bad thing, just a notable observation. Overall the Franklin Cafe fit our need with good late night food and drinks.“

“Love this place beyond words!!“

“Don’t Tell Comedy show at Tall Ship was a blast, gorgeous backdrop with a great sunset view of the skyline. Food was good, the taco stand had a carnitas bowl that was good. Alcohol vendors available both in the main pier area and inside the tent venue. Big open spaces with cornhole set ups available and a giant screen to watch the current live sports.

Parking: Spoke to the manager of the 2 Lewis Street garage. Their garage is paid but the entry is only 6’2 so I could not fit. He mentioned there was a ‘public side’ of the garage up by 48 Lewis but I did not look into it. Called Tall Ship and learned they had Valet available for $20-$25. Resigned to accepting that option but luckily found a spot on the street right near the venue.“

“Extremely well located hotel. Next to a subway station so one can go from airport to hotel using public transportation. This place is in the middle of everything. We walked all over the city to key attractions all the time. It is also close to many bars, pubs, restaurants, and the iconic North End neighborhood. The inside of the hotel is super modern and well decorated. The rooms are huge and well kept. While we were supposed to have a view to somewhere, that was not the case. I would go with the regular room. Highly recommend this place for first visitors and the experts alike.“

“We go to Eastern Standard for a nice leisurely meal after a afternoon Red Sox game. Wait staff is attentive and Johnny on the spot when taking and discussing your order. Food has always been prepared as we like it. Quality, Quantity and presentation prevails. Thanks to the entire staff for making each trip to a game a pleasure win or loose.“

“Staying at this hotel, I decided to try their complimentary breakfast this morning — and it was a pleasant surprise! I ordered the pancakes, and they were excellent — crispy on the edges, soft and fluffy inside. The sausage was especially memorable, juicy and packed with flavor.

The presentation was also nice, with the “CLINK” logo dusted on top of the pancakes — a fun touch. Overall, I would say this was a 5-star breakfast experience. I’m excited that I still have another morning here and hope to try more items on their breakfast menu during this trip.

One more highlight is that the restaurant and hotel are located in a former jail, and they’ve preserved some of the old prison features and décor — definitely worth checking out while you dine.“

“Two of us very much enjoyed our lunch at Lifted on a sunny afternoon. There were people in the pool despite the slightly chilly weather, which made the ambience feel like simmer. Francisco's service was perfect - attuned to our needs but not intrusive. We shared a generous service of crispy and gently spiced Brussel sprouts. The tuna poke bowl hit the spot for both of us. The veggies were crisp and the rice perfect. I might ask for the sauce/dressing on the side next time. With very good coffee, we shared the pineapple upside down cake for a perfect end to a pre-spa lunch.“

“Went today a Tuesday. Service was horrible and they were not busy. Waited 5 minutes before we walked up to a server to ask to be seated. Waited another 10 minutes for water , 10 more to order drinks, then 15 min to order apps. Apps came out before drinks which took about 20min to come out. Food was horrible. I don't know how you can mess up chips with salsa & guac or a chicken quesadilla flavor wise. Chips were overcooked. Quesadilla chicken was under cooked. Birria tacos were pure salt. Pico all we tasted was lime. Ordered a mixed drink but it was all liquor. Asked for a manager & told there was not one available. My birthday dinner ruined. As you can see from the pics we did not finish our main courses because they were not eatable. We did not take them home either. Great presentation but thats about all that was good.“

“Came here on a Friday night for some drinks and snacks. The cocktails were yummy!! We ordered the You're Like So Pretty and their version of the Espresso Martini. The place is pretty casual and has a nice atmosphere for pregame drinks or a chat. They have a nice couch lounge in the front by the windows that looks fantastic for a small group.“
