BE-EZ is a relaxed and chill spot tucked into an industrial area at 15 Union St in the Canal St Antique Mall mill complex. The restaurant is nice and airy with contemporary decor and original brick floor/walls. The staff is friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and every time after school on Fridays, the workers treat customers so nicely. The food is surprisingly good. The single Kraft-Matic burger has a good sized patty with Am. Cheese, chipotle mayo, Bacon and Mac & Cheese on a terrific sesame seed bun; the burger is a guaranteed mess but worth it. The curly fries are a generous portion, lightly seasoned and not over done. The breakfast egg, bacon and cheese English muffin is great, and the tacos are amazing with big portions—highly recommend the Carnitas. The gangster style fries will fill you up. Everything is fresh and crunchy. This place is a new favorite burger joint. Five stars all the way.
