Probably the best restaurant in Lenox, and just a great lively vibe.
Brava offers slightly elevated bar food of inconsistent quality along with uneven service, but has a relaxed atmosphere and generally pleasant staff.
We enjoyed our meal, but it wasn't anything to write home about. There is little craft or creativity to any of the food -- in conception, execution, or presentation -- but it does come out promptly and hot from the kitchen. As an example of what we found to be common level of inconsistency, one of my lamb chops was cut very thin and consequently overcooked and tough, while the other was very thick and pleasantly medium-rare and tender. Even dishes that are generally hard to mess up, like our tomato soup and steamed mussels, were just surprisingly uninteresting in their flavors -- the seasoning wasn't quite right. The bar is also not fully stocked (you won't be able to order certain mixed drinks), and top-shelf bourbons are just run-of-the-mill. The service is pretty uneven, mainly because no one is paying attention to you as a guest (servers alternate fluidly), and as a result no one ever checked in on us and we had to wave someone down to order dessert after a really long wait when it wasn't busy at all. The dessert -- an espresso chocolate mousse -- was actually pretty good, as were the caffè americanos we ordered with it. In fact these were the highlights of our meal. And this mediocre experience of course commanded high Lenox prices...but that's to be expected.
All-in-all we don't have much of a reason to choose Brava again, and we wouldn't recommend it to anyone unless they're looking for a late snack and everything else in Lenox is closed. Sadly, overall Brava sort of feels like a mid-level restaurant chain that has stopped paying attention to both its customers and its food.
We had multiple tapas dishes, and they were all wonderful. I highly recommend the tomato soup. It sounds simple, but the pesto takes it to the next level! The service was good, and the quiet atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming.
Some of the best bartenders in the area and definitely in Lenox. Go to spot with phenomenal atmosphere and vibe. Been coming here for years and if you want a place that’s small bites that matter with killer drinks this is the place! Ask for the espresso martini, it’s legit!!
Such a cozy night experience! The staff was super attentive, food was incredible! (If you’re a bread lover get the bread and butter) the lamb chops w the mint sauce was my favorite, so tender. Great wine list, limited cocktail list. Outdoor seating is so cute!
Absolutely amazing restaurant!.5 Stars. The house made meatballs are great. The service was great.I highly recommend this establishment!.
My wife and I stopped in for Valentine’s Day last night and were reminded why Brava is the best restaurant in the Berkshires. We have been three times and every time we go we are impressed. Initially we were hesitant, thinking it would be over priced but it is always less expensive than we expected. Pizzas, wings, and the bread pudding were the favorites this time. 10/10.
Not recommended.
My husband and I ordered the bread, white anchovies, crispy calamari, grilled sirloin steak, and the daily special paella. Unfortunately, both the calamari and paella were way overly salty, leaving us with stinging tongues after the meal.
It was hard not to speculate about the intention behind such heavy seasoning. As a bar, I understand the tactic to encourage more drink orders, but this went too far.
Service was okay, but it took a while to receive the bill and get our card back.

Very good wine and beer selection, great food and the two people running the place(short staffed) did a great job keeping the food and beverages flowing to our table.

It's a tapas restaurant with a nice outdoor space. We each had a salad which was very good. We had two shrimp dishes, boom boom shrimp which we both liked and garlic shrimp which was bland. We also had the calamari which was good and the mussels which were just OK. Our meat dishes were the lamb chops which we liked and the meatballs which we didn't.

August 2024: Brava is a tapas restaurant with 15 tapas choices. We ordered 6 of them:
Calamari - good, pleasant sauce
Boom boom shrimp - good, flavorful and slightly spicy
Garlic shrimp - bland, did not enjoy it
Meatballs - generous amount, but with a sauce we did not like
Lamb chop - overdone, not interesting, ok not not good
Muscles - bland, not flavorful
The Arugula salad was flavorful and fresh.
The outside deck was pleasant, the service friendly and attentive.

Wonderful and friendly place with delicious food. Great customer service. We mistakenly left our credit card at the restaurant. They were nice enough to mail it to our home.

The food was ok, a little pricey for the quality and presentation. The dishes were very basic and came without sides.
