Abbots in Lexington is amazing. The frozen custard tastes so much better than ice cream, it just pops with creamy richness and complex flavor without being too fatty or too sweet or too icy. Their fudge-Oreo-vanilla is the best ice cream I’ve had in a year, at least. Also, the people behind the counter are super nice and cheery and prices are great. 5+ stars.
I love abbots!!! I’ve been going to this place for the past couple of weeks and it had always been a delight coming into the store. I love the different flavors each day that they offer but the chocolate almond is a go to! The staff is really friendly, Clinton is always really nice and respectful when serving my custard. definitely will be coming back!Vegetarian options: Amazing service, Clinton was very helpful and kind. One of the best local businesses in Lexington!! Joe is so so kind and always willing to give back to our community. The custard is always superb and the chill wheels are incredibly delicious. Definitely a must-visit place in Lexington and a great staple for locals when looking for custard as well as their delicious cakes and pies. They also can provide dessert at events such as parties which is incredibly underrated and something everyone should consider for their next event!!
