“We got 2 large platters (one hot and one raw) for 4 adults. WoW. That was a lot of food. The presentation was beautiful, one on a boat and the other on a bridge. The pieces were huge and very fresh. A lot of different combinations to try. The waitstaff was so nice. Highly recommend!”
“this was my favorite place before and cant wait to get back. just found out open again.”
“First time visiting. We visit a lot of Mexican restaurants in and around the North Shore, and have our favorites. This is for sure a new favorite for us. The customer service at the location in Malden was excellent, our waitress was so polite, personable, and the right amount of attentive. The restaurant was spotless, I mean, SPOTLESS, including the restroom. The rest of the staff checked in, and the food was excellent.”
“Last Friday afternoon had Friendly service delicious food . The cook came out to ask how me and my kids food was and asked if we needed anything friendly staff def planning on going again 😊”
“Looking for a chipper & a couple Guinness, you found the place. Nice staff and doing great before a hockey game at Tsongas on a Saturday afternoon. Talking to a couple folks who go there often they all love it.
Later College crowd, so if that energy is good you are in the right place.”

“The service is prompt, courteous, and attentive! The drinks are creative and presented well. The food? You MUST go there to experience the amazing profile and range of flavors in these dishes. From the appetizers, to the entrees, and even the desserts, you will be blown away! The $1 oysters (Blue Point, Hello?) are freshly shucked and served with chontaduro sauce (native Colombian fruit) that is sweet, tart, spicy, and VERY addictive. The menu changes seasonally, which always makes me wonder what tantalizing dishes the chef will come up with next! The patacones, empanadas, and chicken wings (sweet or SPICY) are always top notch. The SPICY wings, in particular, are the BEST I've ever had, and I've had plenty! A special shout out to any dish featuring pork belly. The way it's prepared (crispy but not burned) makes it a welcome component in any entree or appetizer, whether it's the star ingredient or a supporting role. Finally, a special request for the chef: PLEASE bring back the baby back ribs (with the AMAZING Panela syrup)! Panela, in my opinion, is THE go-to restaurant in Lowell for anyone looking for a unique tasting experience, as well as top notch service.”
“So delish!! Nice and toasty seating, friendly, and just yummy! 5 stars”

“they were so kind! I came in 30 mins before closing with out realizing until I started eating my meal. They didn't rush me at all. I did leave prior to closing. I appreciate the good food and friendly atmosphere and kind staff. thank you! -Megan and service dog zorro”
“Decent option for large portion lunch specials.
Been in Lowell quite a bit lately and stopped by twice to try their lunch specials. Both times, I was the only person dining in, though there were a few takeout orders going out. The owner was super friendly and while the restaurant seemed like a single man operation, everything came out quick.
The food. The portions for most dishes were easily double what I’d expected from a typical appetizer/ lunch specials. Unfortunately, the overall quality was subpar. Some small plates, like the spare ribs, were clearly reheated in the microwave, and the excess moisture from the thawing process was clearly visible on the bottom of the plate. General Tso’s chicken had thick and soggy breading and very little meat, which made it a carb-heavy bite. Since it had been fried and frozen beforehand, it tasted almost identical to one of those frozen Chinese chicken plates from grocery stores. Thankfully, the pork belly dishes held better even after freezing. Both the garlic chili pork belly and the double cooked pork belly were genuinely enjoyable.
Overall, better than food-court Chinese, but not quite on par with average Boston Chinese restaurants. Lowell’s Chinese food scene is pretty underwhelming, so it might be worth a stop if you’re looking for an inexpensive yet filling meal.”
“Two years ago I switched my allegiance from Haute Coffee in Concord, MA to Nibbana Cafe in Lowell. While the coffee at Haute is indeed very good (Counter Culture beans, not local), I find the staff there a bit impersonal. Seating is also quite limited. Nibbana has equally good coffee (if not better, which is really saying something), provided by Tiny Arms, a local roaster. There is plenty of seating and parking at their location at Western Avenue Studios. The coffee is generally light-to-medium roast and they offer an array of interesting, unusual coffee drinks (I only drink espresso, straight, so I can't comment on those). At the time of this review, they have been cranking out lots of new food items. The staff is extremely friendly, always offering a welcoming smile and an enthusiastic "Enjoy!" when I pick up my order. The owners truly live by what Buddhists call "right living". They are very community-focused, and it shows. If you haven't checked out Nibbana, you're really missing out on a special place.”
“What an amazing restaurant in the most ideal location in Lowell. Today was my first time having entered the beautiful location and had take out. I can without a doubt state that my husband and I will be coming in and be patrons because of the friendly service, unique style, and most definitely the fresh ingredients used in their menu. Thank you for helping me on a stressful day and so happy I finally came in!”
“Oh My Gods! This place! Came here with a friend who has celiacs and what a find. The food is incredibly flavorful, the portions are amazing, the Lavender coffee is amazing, and the current soup of the day is Chefs kiss!! Amazing, overall I recommend it to everyone!! Will most certainly be returning.”

“What a beautiful night Penny and her crew hosted last night for the Lowell performing arts center at Smith Baker. Elevated flavorful food coming out of that tiny kitchen by Chris and his team , was blown away impressed. The bartenders on point and attentive to every need. Atmosphere with a full house perfection . A super big thank you for a memorable successful event . Bruce”
“I never comment or post about a restaurant, however since eating here I cannot stop thinking about it. Friendly staff, amazing drinks, and live music that was good and not so loud you couldn’t hear the staff or other members in your party speaking. The jerk chicken alone is enough of a reason to visit this place. I highly recommend Sahel to anyone, even if it’s just for drinks and an appetizer.”
“My daughter in law’s lovely large Khmer family really wanted to go to this restaurant! We drove from Ny and the other family members flew in from CA and drove from CT. The food was fantastic and quite flavorful. We got a real smorgasbord of various dishes that we all enjoyed. My favorites were the Khmer chicken wings-outstanding crunch and flavor (I like them better than Buffalo wings), and my absolute favorite, lemongrass chicken. Every other dish was amazing, too. We certainly want to go back here!”

“We visited this restaurant for the first time today and had an excellent lunch. Everyone was pleased with their choices including the appetizers. The potato skins were my favorite. We all sampled their delicious deserts, too. We were a large party and had an excellent server who allowed us to take our time and visit. Their outdoor seating looked beautiful so hope we can go back and try dining outside.”
“I had a party yesterday for about 50 people. I was worried about ordering Afro food for all my guests because I had a very diverse group. To my surprise, everyone LOVED the food and praised the food as one of the best foods that they have had. The food was amazing. Thank you Chef Munah for making my celebration memorable. Thanks”
Takeout Restaurants
“Used to live right off of Gorham street and would have Georges weekly! Miss it! Go out of our way to get take out there now. Great customer service always and friendly staff. Everything is delicious from the steak or chicken kebab dinners that rice with the red sauce, to the steak and cheese subs.. seriously THE BEST!”

“Oh my! We asked our front desk clerk at our hotel , Sonesta Select, for a good place to eat. Before I could finish the sentence she told me Cameo Diner. Holy Smokes! I am so very glad I asked! Wonderful food, excellent service, fair prices, quintessential Boston. It’s really is like Cheers! Everyone knew everyone and made you feel like they knew you, as well! If you are in Lowell, do yourself a favor and eat here! We had breakfast and like I said absolutely amazing place to eat.”

“Welcoming team, Spanish dishes situated in the center of Lowell, MA. I have visited this location more than 30 times, and every visit has been a delightful experience. Their prices for the quantity of food offered are quite reasonable and consistently tasty. The store is well-stocked with the essentials typically found in most shops, and I must emphasize how welcoming the staff is every single time I visit. If you have the opportunity to visit and experience this hidden gem, you will surely be pleased.”
“Awesome first time experience and very fast service, our waitress was great and they were all dressed up for Halloween 👻 🎃”
“Great food, I do like traditional food that tastes traditional, the decoration is very nice, reflecting the Colombian-Latino roots with elegance. Highly recommend”

“This is a Lowell classic. The restaurant could definitely use some udpating, but you can't beat the pizza. Something about that beautifully balanced, slightly sweet sauce. The dough it the right amount of crispy and chewy. Our favorites are the meat lover's, chicken finger, or just plain cheese. I will say, I've gotten veggies before and some of the ingredients (specifically the mushrooms) don't always seem to be fresh. Pepper and onion pizza once was watery and flavorless, which made me fear the veggies were frozen. So now we just stick with what we know we love. Most of the time the employees are kind and efficient. Every now and then the wait is insane, or the staff is having a bad day, but that's life!”
“A large park, excellent service, the staff is very attentive and the atmosphere is very comfortable.
Parking: It is in a small square, leaving the main street, you enter and quickly find parking and even handicap parking.
Kid-friendliness: When you enter the restaurant they take you quickly to your table and if you have small children, they bring you a villa for children, you will have no problems at all”
“To be honest a good place to go with family and friends also food were amazing and the owner is adorable with all customer. I had been a customer from trolley pizza for more than years I should say more than 5 and they still taking care about the details also pay attention guys, people in in a bad days do bad things that means you could pull up and check it by yourself about the place and I promise that you will be in love with it.”

“Rizzo’s is my go to place for takeout. They have a wide variety to choose from. Their food is very good, and the delivery service is fast and friendly. The last couple of times,I got a surprise with my orders. The piece of chocolate cake this time was very much appreciated. Love Rizzo’s.”
“Very humble place, parking g in back was nice, but you basically are entering through the kitchen. The fresh rolls were very nice. Sauce was not what I expected but was very good. Broth served with the meal was very flavorful. I had duck with rice. Very tasty.
I think I would do take out next time.”
“Did not order food- been a while since I went here. The place seemed to have a old and new crowd to it. Bartender was new (used to a female bartender there) was not thrilled with my drink but the dude was nice. Had to move around but an ok visit”
“My favorite sushi spot by far!!! I’ve been eating here regularly for probably 6 years now. sushi is always fresh, prices are great, everyone that works there is so kind.”
“so so good, been wanting to try and now we need to come back and try more. service and food was outstanding”
“First impression: I just got here, it looks great and the tables look nice. I bet thr staff are nice also. Now that i think about it, i should have dressed a little more formerly, i did not know the quality would be so goood.”
“First, I'd like to say I tried contacting Charlie's before I went this route. I didn't get a response. I've been to Charlie's with a group of 8 for lunch. It was very good. We got what we ordered and everything was delivered together. On Friday, 4 of us went there for food and drinks before the Folk Festival. Okay, Corona, I asked for lime. Didn’t get it. No biggie. Two of us ordered hamburgers, one ordered a tuna sandwich, the 4th haddock. Nope, no haddock. Okay, sirloin tips. Nope. Country chicken. Nope and don't know what it is. Okay....I'll have a hamburger. 15 minutes after (mind you 25 minutes have already passed), sorry. no buns. How about white bread! 40 minutes after initial order, hamburger on white bread and something resembling a tuna sandwich (?) arrives. We felt sorry for the waitress. But definitely poor service. I'm sorry I have to post this, I like helping local businesses, but lack of listed items was horrible.”

“Wings and spring rolls were delicious. Best wings I've ever had. No prices on menu, only photos of dishes. Asked ahead of ordering. Overcharged by $12. Mentioned and a portion of charge removed. Too lazy to argue any further. Will go back, but making sure of prices by asking wait staff to write it down.”

“The dude with dreads and glasses. I believe his name is Ben. He went above and beyond for my son and I. I had a baby bottle hidden under my coat, so he must have assumed we didn't have anything to drink. He quickly went out of pocket to give my son and I a drink, then quickly went back to work. Workers like this deserve an incentive because I didn't like this Wendy's before but now I don't mind it thanks to the new staff such as people like Ben.”

“Big thanks to the service by the two women who stopped a fraudulent order from my hacked Grubhub account and then also processed the refund after Grubhub initially wouldn't. Glad I called you before you started the order! Also, if the manager or someone would like to message me, I would like to Venmo them each a tip for their help. Saved me $56. Just mention Nick from Wisconsin and they'll probably remember it. Next time I'm in the Boston of Nashua area I'll have to stop by!”
